I think it's fine to not allow pauses at all on these dan courses, but I feel like they are taken WAY TOO MUCH seriously, it doesn't matter of you paused, as long as it didn't give you an advantage that helped you clear the dan like get more stamina or recover faster from a cbrush faster then it's fine. And judging by how you kept pressing even after you paused, it makes me think that it was accidental.
