Watches a Jamaican coworker eating the hell out of some home made sardines at work yesterday and I had to have some. As a seafood lover never had fresh sardines but the one in the can. As she ate I couldn't believe it didn't have that strong smell that the ones in the can have. At he farmers market picking up some fresh sardines and using your recipe.👌
Just bought a small bag of fresh and frozen sardines. My first time buying fresh sardines. So you recipe looks really good. I tasted fresh sardines while i was in France and really liked it. So im trying it. Love fish so im trying something new. Cant wait to try it.
U need a tv show! Love love love all ur recipes and ur personality!! Keep them coming!
you can eat the whole fish, bone and all since it's been hard fried. They will just be crunchy. cut off the head and tails if you're squeamish.
You should boil some cinnamon in water it covers the smell an have the house smelling good
Aloha Chris, Great looking recipe, thank you for sharing. Here in Hawai'i we love to crunch these up bones, head, sometimes even the innards. Whole sardines, smelts, and locally caught oama (juvenile goatfish) we deep-fry them all until crispy. I like to dip them in sauce made from combining shoyu (Japanese soy sauce), lemon juice, and chili peppers.
I have been raised in a seafood family and I have never had sardines that turned out this tasty. Good shit man.
I cant wait to cook this, I feel hungry now : )
I giggled when you said "fish them out of the bowl" lol
