Haha always, and I think it so important to stay playful and childish 🤸🌿
I work at Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida. I work in Quick service at Wilderness lodge, and there are simple adjustments that I have encouraged within my workplace to make a sustainable difference. We put all food wast into bins where they either get turned into gas for our busses or turned into nutrient rich soil. I educate all my fellow coworkers to make sure that food waste is disposed of properly so it does not end up in landfill. I also find myself picking things out of the trash and recycling backstage to make sure things are disposed of properly. My most recent endeavor was switching out all of our disposable napkins for cleaning surfaces out for wash cloths. Durring my entire shift yesterday, we didn't produce any waste when cleaning tables, and it made my sustainable heart so happy. Little adjustments make such an incredible difference. I am also trying to get my managers to install composting bins for our guest areas so they do not put their leftover food in the trash.

Aw thank you 😍❤️
I wish there were more people powered parks here in northeast US for children of all ages. Even at the local park, children get the playhouse with the slide, climbing wall, cargo net, overhead bars, etc. Adults get sports fields/courts and some lonely looking bars for specific exercises. The fun parts of the park are not build for full sized adult and it feels weird taking turns with exclusively children. I believe that there is some factor related to the dearth of people powered things and health hazards from lack of exercise.
I have been WAITING for a zero waster to go to an amusement park!!🙏 I am also a child at heart, but when I didn't see anyone in the zero waste community (at least that u follow) talk about amusement parks, I was like "oh, then they must be bad."😅 I'm glad there is a balance of having fun and still wanna try ur best protecting the planet.

9:19 These options were actually super good for an amusement park! where I live what you can get is usually pizza with tomato sauce and fries only ;P

Uh that is less motivating 😂
You take requests? Awesome! I love the in depth full cycle analysis, and where in the cycle it's most important to motivate change. Like the products that say they reduce waste but added waste in a different part of the product life cycle. Thanks.
I may be weird but part of the fun for me in outings is the challenge of zero waste. Feeling proud of myself for making less waste makes up for the food and merch I pass up, which also means I spend less.

Hey! I know in the US onion rings are usually not vegan sadly 😟 they usually have eggs in the batter! Not sure if this is the same in EU or UK? Always love your videos!
Hmm… one day soon… I think I see Gittemary combing the local thrift store looking for a putter to work on her mini-golf game at home ⛳️🏌️♀️ Hahaha🤣🌀Ⓜ️ary

Oh thank you very much for this video. Really inspirating!!
I completely loved this ✨wholesome✨ video. Keep them coming!
You should come to Germany and try the park close to Cologne -Phantasialand. In my opinion the most beautiful park when you are also interested in looking at the design. On a very different not: You are really fun to watch. I wish I had people like you in my life.
So inspiring, thanks again :) And this colour (beige/green/taupe) you're wearing at the end is just so gorgeous on you! Hope to see you wearing it again beauty!
So inspiring! Anyway why you didn’t bring your own food container to the amusement park?
Super helpful!! thank you so much. I would love to know how parents deal with zero/ low waste with their kids in an amusement park. It must be difficult to explain why not to a lot of things that all the other kids are buying.
I used to love amusement parts and back in Germany lived 1 hour far away from Europa Park, which is the biggest amusement park in Europe. They didn't have vegan food back then, but that is 6 years ago. And I always get sick on some rollercoasters, so not worth going, lol. Fjord Rafting with water around is always fun :D When I was 10 years old me and my parents and brother were on vacation in the North of Germany and drove to Legoland in Billund, hehe. The obstacle course there in your park looks so cool.

Digger dere!!! Bambus beholderen kan du gjenbruke som blomsterpotte når du kommer hjem f.eks🌻

Thanks for uploading this! I love visiting theme parks and wondered how to practise zero waste there! Finding vegan food has become easier the last years 😊

Traditionally, churros are vegan (only flour and water, also oil to fry them and sugar to put over them) But some recipes strangely have dairy or eggs in them, so always ask!
Fårup Sommerland is not the worst place... Disney Land, omfg, is the worst trashplace on earth. It looks clean, yeah, but you cant get anything without plasic 😅
As a fellow vegan low waster I appreciate your efforts so much.
