Very nostalgic this was the first ti frame lock I ever purchased back in 2012 thousands of dollars and hundreds of knives later it’s still a phenomenal knife. I really wish zt would bring the Hinderer Emerson and Les George designed models back that was the best era of zt in my opinion

I would love to have an 0560. I have an 0804CF and did some work on it to make it better and love it. I also have a 0308,which I am just not happy with. I thought I would be, but it's just not for me. Thanks for the video my Bladed Brother 👍 ⚔️ ✝️ 🇺🇲

I totally agree with you. The 0560 is the first really good production dialed in Flipper! This Knife started a revolution that is still going today!

Damn, a more comfortable XM-24! I need to try this. With my mitts I find most knives slightly too small. I learned to thumb flip my XM-24 making it really better. My fits-like-a-well-worn-glove knife is the AD20. I hope one day to get a chance to give a ZT 0560 a test drive.

They, the 0560's, are out there and run in the $300 range. But please be careful as there are clones around.

@@ATherapeuticEdge yeah, that holds me back. Being new to knife buying I always worry about buying a counterfeit and not knowing. Just think that it’s a crap knife. ;)

Many people would rather have knives with plastic handles and a super thin blade and which should be incredibly light. I prefer heavier knives as you show here. Thanks

What kind of aftermarket scale do you have on the 0308?

Knife is actually pretty terrible now: Overly heavy and clunky, no weight relief on the titanium, thick obtuse cutting edge, soft heat treat by ZT, single-row bearings not conducive to hard use by any means, no steel-insert for detent increases lockstick and wear. All in all, a very blah knife in itself. This is before you realize ZT charges $240 for this knife, which would make even the simplest of simps to second think their purchase. ZT needs to get with timess, 50$ Twosuns have all of those features I mentioned and far better designed.

This knife is 10 years old. When the knives you've mentioned are new, and learned from mistakes of the past. This knife, and so many from nearly a decade ago, were cutting edge (pun intended) for their time. My point is simply that the foundation for a superb knife already exist and I wish ZT would build on it. Finally knives are as personal as anything, this one (flaws and all) speaks to me, and does so in a way none of my other 150 folding knives do. We live in a grand time for knives, so great that it's easy to forget how new it really is.
