If you count the time you spent communicating with the seller, driving to the seller, then return to the office, cleaning, photos, posting, shipping, etc, not to mention fuel (Or battery in this case) tear and wear to your car, the "total" cost is much higher than a mere 30 minute investment, agree? Still, great video.

Yeah I resell stuff too. It's good sometimes but it's better to sell all kinds of shit little of everything But even then it's hard. Facebook is spectacular because it doesn't tax. You pay no rent no employees, very safe and comfortable

Totally agree, I think 30 minutes is a bit low compared to the time it actually takes. That being said when you are doing it as a business you can do all of those processes in batches and it is more efficient. Christian’s business model isn’t the only model. I’ve NEVER driven to pick up product. Do pawn stores bring their money to customers who need it ? Everybody should learn how to resell. Niche down like every other business. Reselling isn’t my main hustle but amazing how much revenue and profit it can bring. It can be LAZY work. But if you’re running around sourcing at thrift stores and such, yeah , you waste a lot of time. Man , you guys don’t even want to know the iPhone store hustle , mind blowing $$$

Super cool video, I was doing this back in 2011 with iPhone 3GS and had the thought to get back into it. Thanks for this!!!

Being an Amazon seller myself, I can say that their profit calculation is way off. First off, they don't factor in the referral fee Amazon collects (could be upto 20%), then there is FBA fee or shipping fee. Also, don't forget the taxes. After all is said and done, the profit isn't so great anymore. P.S. I am not trying to hate on these guys and I do respect the hustle, however, please provide the max possible info.

Hi there, in this video we didn’t not go into details about selling fees on Amazon because we are not instructing people to sell iPhones on Amazon. (Rather eBay or marketplace) Amazon requires quite a bit to allow you to sell renewed devices on there platform so we did not think that would be helpful for your average person. Should note fees work out to closer to 8-9% + $5 give or take for Amazon fulfilment. I’d assume the 20% number you are seeing is for other product categories.

Inspired !! I am going to try this !!

I started with iPhone repair and sale like one year ago, and for now I like what Im doing. The biggest problem for me is that I have to buy broken iPhones and I don`t have plenty of them since many others are buying and doing the same job as me. My friend who is specialist in this area has learn me a lot about iPhone repair and now I can do screen replacement, back glass and soon also battery replacement. My point is that Im learning more and more about how it all works, so hopefully sooner or later I can do all by myself when it comes to iPhone repair, but It will take some time. My advice is to everyone who likes this to give it a try, and I wish everyone the best of luck. If you guys have any advice for me I would appreciate it, thanks!

I do that in Brazil exactly like in the video, I buy cheap and sell for a higher price. I also trade iPhones. I started by buying an iPhone 5 for $30, R$150 in Brazil. And now I sell around 30 iPhones per month while I'm graduating from college.

Most batteries are below 100% when the device is used, you just advertise what the battery health is at when listing. In regards to replaced screens im not sure what you are asking? Could you please clarify

How can i buy phones in bulk,i have a guarantee overseas customer

I’ve been buying and selling phones for 5 years now and instead of taking broken phones to a repair store and paying to get them to be repaired it’s very easy to do yourself, to scale this business I saved some of the money I was making and now have a store and some employees, we buy sell and do repairs! I am struggling however to level up from the buying a single phone at a time stage and to get more into online and wholesale. Everywhere I’ve found wholesellers they’re selling to me at the same price as eBay sells them fully working so I’m struggling how to make money this way. Doing phones 1 by 1 is very good profit but it all depends how many you can find in a day, ideally I’d like to buy broken phones (can get them 90% cheaper) do a quick 10minute repair (£5 tools and KZread guide) to bring them back to full value to flip back out but I’d like to find this in bulk. Anyone know of a place I can get pallets of broken devices? Thanks and good luck!!

Hey, Andrew. As someone who is highly invested in Ebay I must say there are many listings as lots that sell a plenty of phones at a low price, especially if they are not working. It is dififcult to know if they are unrepairable or if it's a genuine listing, but that's the way.

@@happyraintf I’m wanting to buy from a supplier so I can buy in bulk rather than the odd one here and there. So many people doing this right now so it gets very competitive, having a supplier is the edge. You make the money when you buy, and then you just sell at the going rate

Can promise you there is no shortage of people selling iphones at a good price. Every single person has a phone and people will always be listing them at a lower price point for a quicker sale.

In Canada there’s a new law that every phone comes unlocked, and if it’s locked the cell provider will unlock for free

Test phones before they are sold, if theyre well tested warranty claims are rare. They still happen but its just part of the cost of doing business. Uploaded a video on my channel going over this process in more details

@@frayluisalmonte7193 i dabbled with trying to buy phones that are broken, but honestly even if you fix them they’re never the same, plus now with iOS 15 and later it now tells you in settings if a screen or part was replaced and if it was done by some random store at the mall it will say its not a genuine apple part. I only buy mint phones with no issues, I first look for scratches and dings, but I also check buttons, speakers, cameras, selfie camera, flashlight, microphones, battery health, check settings to make sure it says no sim restrictions, and this guy in the video said something about checking the serial or imei number, honestly that’s a good way to know if something’s black listed but if your buying off of a shady person he could sell you a good phone at that moment but as soon as he gets home he can report it stolen, if he has insurance on it he pays the $250 deductible gets a new phone and the phone you now have is blacklisted so honestly that serial number check really isn’t bullet proof, best bet is to feel the person out, but at the end of the day there’s so many scams now, sometimes there’s scammers who will show you a good iphone and when you take the money out to hand it to them they quickly swap it out for a dummy put it in the box and by the time you give them the money and open the box they’re long gone
