I’m sorry, I just feel that I should point out that you seem very ungrateful for these slimes, people actually work to make these, you seemed disappointed in the packing breaking but you’re supposed to be rating the slime, not the package. What if it broke when it was shipping what could the shop really do about that or what if she dropped it and didn’t say anything or she broke it some how than that would make people think that it will probably be broke when they get it but it was nice slime and if probably wouldn’t be broken

Wanted to throw my thoughts into the void of the half star reduction, 4.5 stars is still a REALLY good rating, but as a creator (not of slime, but just in general) and a consumer, if my product were to break in shipping I would take someone leaving a comment about my packaging getting damaged as a form of constructive criticism to maybe look into stronger packaging. The fact of the matter isn't it being the sellers fault or the shippers fault, its that the damage could have caused a loss of the product as a whole, which would have sucked. Considering it cracked, it hints that the plastic may have been of cheaper quality, and leaving an honest review about how the product arrived would be good insight to someone who maybe just started or doesn't know whats best yet to look into something of nicer quality in the future. I thought their packaging was beautiful, and the way it was wrapped prevented further damage of the product as a whole, so i think that a half star reduction is reasonable. Its better that just saying "uM it came SPILLED so i HATE IT," because lets be real, nobody wants to hear something like that accompanied by a rating that would throw them off the charts entirely. 4.5 is perfectly fine. Packaging does matter when owning a business, you wouldn't buy broken packages at the store, or a cracked egg with the argument "well you dont eat the shell! you dont cook with the box!"

I disagree, you're paying for something. You would expect a package that is professional and in good shape. And every Slime seller should expect or know that it will leak if the container for it is not secure. You should know that those flimsy souffle cups can't hold stuff well, there are so many possibilities that it could leak from. And the delivery people don't really give a crap and will probably be rough with it. And the slime itself was beautiful, and nice, but it came late (but they did include a extra for being late), and the packaging was messed up, used and old.

Once I bought the slime from her and it was like three times as much as the ones in this video and it was way worse the packaging was broken and I was very disappointed 😕

My two cents from someone who actually RUNS an Etsy shop: a shop review is about the whole shop, not just the product. It's the packaging, the customer service, the little extras (like the charms) that make you think the person running the shop put in extra effort to make their customer happy. After you order, your first real impression of that company is when your package arrives in the mail...no one is impressed by something that is all taped together and beat up. As for the broken container, even though it had a layer of bubble wrap, a cheap, thin container will break after going through the mail system. My strong guess is that most of these shops are "run" by kids who are still learning.

Anytime a package is damaged it falls on the seller no matter what company/store it is UNLESS shipping insurance is purchased.

Courtney Lundquist shipping insurance might be expensive for them. thus they might choose the other route.. and knowing what might come with that, they package the slime to the best of their ability so in that instance, it isn't their fault

I give 0. I brought her slimes before, a butter slime, cloud, and floam. The butter slime was rubber. I could just carry it without it moving. The cloud one was not drizzling, and floam had the beads kept falling out.

i think it’s sweet that you buy slime from sellers who have no stars :)

They probably overactivate it so that it doesn't melt too much during shipping. That's my guess anyway 🤷

I believe that as long as the slime isn’t too bad then it shouldn’t matter too much about packing.When the buyer uses bubble wrap,tape,seals etc it shows they do try.I think It should’ve been around 4.8-5 stars.They added a note,borax,as much protection as possible and such.Im not hating on this vid just saying don’t set your standards higher than some people are in fact able to reach :) but honestly that’s my outlook on this

It’s not their fault if the container broke they can’t help it if the shipping was rough btw some people don’t have enough money to get professional packaging so STOP hating just bc u have to be picky not everything has to be to UR standards... I know I'm late to the party. But I wanna say the packaging issue isnt always the sellers fault. Even with the second slime coming in a taped up envelope. I work at FedEx. And sometimes if there is an envelope that got ripped open we usually make sure everything is still inside and we tape it up also sometimes the label rips off during the shipping process and we have to relable it ourselves. So that might not even have been their fault either

When she did the slime asmr it was sorta repetitive. That really triggered me. And also, just because a container is cracked doesn’t mean it’s their fault. Shipping can be very rough sometimes. For some reason the way she talks bothers me. (No hate intended)

Why is everyone so angry about the .5 star reduction? Some of the best apps on the App Store have a lower rating than 4.5, it’s not like such a small reduction is going to affect the seller. Besides, the container could have been too thin or weak. Now, if she’d taken off a star or more, I’d be pretty ticked.

OTAKU L. Review the slime. Yes, it can be good to rate the packaging, but it might be better to rate the packaging and the slime separately. Because, it's really about the product you're buying. You buy the slime, not the packaging and extras. Most of the time, she's being very critical of the packaging, but thinks the slime is good.

Ok so look first of all on the second slime everything was perfect except for a little tiny rip and I am pretty sure that was the mailer fault because they don’t treat the packages really well but did that have to do with the slime... NOPE,that slime didn’t deserve a 4.5 it deserved a 5. The third slime was in a really poor package but the slime had no rating what did you expect? And finally you are literally rating the slime because of the package what type of person does that,you have no idea of how to rate something🙄.
