I’m amazed at the number of people commenting that the Pirelli Corsas on the Quadrifoglio don’t grip and the car needs AWD. I’ve had my Quadrifoglio since November and until the better weather comes I won’t be using Dynamic mode often much less Race mode (just using a bit of finesse on the brakes and throttle does wonders - if you can’t manage that then the Quadrifoglio isn’t for you). To be fair, the Corsas do lack grip on the road when they are stone cold but fine even in the wet as long as you’ve given them a mile or so to warm up. And to anyone that bangs on about track use well I’ve paid for this car and have no intention of ruining it so can’t comment on what the tyres do off of the public road. In short this car is phenominal in every way but it doesn’t flatter or forgive an aggressive driving style.

I have same car here in New England. With those Corsa tires you can run in cold temps but better keep her in N mode or you will get in trouble. I’m saving them for summer track tires and plan to buy the Michelin’s for the nasty days. But guys what a car simply amazing to drive. . And you don’t look like every joe with his bmw or merc.

Every single review I've seen of this car sings its praises to the high heavens.

It's a beautiful car, had mine 12 months and it's just like nothing else. I never had a problem with my corsa's last winter, but then I didn't drive around in 2c with snow on the ground in Race mode! Switched to mps4s and transformed the car. Personally I love the standard seats, the carbon backed seats are not for me, they are OK if your short & slim and that's about it.. Yes they look awesome at the back but your driving and never really get to see them. I do agree about the ride height, it could do with going just a tad lower. You definitely have to restrain yourself in this beast I can tell you.

Great review! I have a Mk3 Focus RS with standard seats with height adjustment and I'll be test driving the QV on Friday so I'll be able to compare the seating ;-) Edit - okay seating in the QV is perfect!

This is the reason you change to winter tyres during the cold months. I agree the choice to ship with Corsas is the wrong one, but it's easily mitigated and in many countries, mandated.

I think Auto Fanatic in New York is running his Quadrifoglios in the snow with Alpin tires with no problems at all. Check him out (KZread) besides his great Alfa mods he has his own high end wheel cleaner that’s getting lots of attention.

I love my QV allot and I don't think the infotainment is bad and the interior plastic s come-on look at BMW it all plastic s and I personally Like the regular seats but that because I daily the car I certainly Love the looks of the carbon s You should bought also a QV instead of the m2 ..... M50B25 Turbo You’ve driven or owned both? The M2 is a great car but the Quadrifoglio utterly trumps it in just about every way (infotainment doesn’t interest me but iDrive and Alfa’s are about the same). What do I base this opinion on? Well I owned an M2 for a year and traded it for the Alfa. I get you like BMW, and their M Series cars are great but you make yourself look daft by trashing another brand out of some idiotic loyalty to a company that has no idea you even exist.

Any driver with a clue would know the traction of aCorsa falls off a cliff below 50 degrees. Even at 60 degrees they won't do well till heated up quite a bit

Alpha would need to build a car to make that comparison. That's a totally different market. This car is aimed owners of c63's, Ats V's, & m3's. I want all four..💎💎. In saying that ...all these other 3 have bigger brothers, so if alpha spec'd this fucken thing up for the next class..Insane !!

M50B25 Turbo the m5 is currently 6 seconds slower than the Giulia around the Nürburgring and the M2 is not nearly as quick or as fun as a the Giulia! not even in the same league pal

jay bob M5 did 7:29 on the Nurburgring. And M5 is faster than the Giulia on literally every track in the world. Plus M5 does 0-60 nearly a full second faster than the Giulia. Not on the same league. M2 is lighter and way more fun because it comes with a mechanical LSD and a manual gearbox.

M50B25 Turbo the lap time your referring to is a turned version by AC Schnitzer, bmw haven’t set a time, another race driver has and it’s slower than the Guilia, the m2 competition weighs 1625 almost identical to the Giulia

I’m running Michelin alpin tires but Guilia also has to be a second vehicle. So mostly used on dry frozen pot hole roads.

Admitted to running the wrong tyre in the cold, I immediately stopped watching there. Edit: I do typically enjoy the channel, didn't mean to sound like I was trolling. 👍

For fuck’s sake, just call it a Cloverleaf. That’s what it is after all. The name ‘cloverleaf’ is far more synoymous with top end Alfas. People are just infatuated with sounding Italian. Also, if you can’t handle the car with P Zeros as someone else has said, maybe not the car for you. Learn to drive better?
