Smart system, I rate that. I think it applies more than what randy is suggesting, like if fans want someone to host a video now that person is kinda fucked and its a double win of the fans get what they want and the work is equalized. Credit where credit due, whom ever had this idea, is a 5head. It covers so many bases for such a simple system, im actually blown away

It means suppose each of them has to make 8 videos a year COMPULSARILY (8*6=48 weeks of video and Simon does 2nd channel) And by the end of mid feb they all have done 1 video each and hence their individual tally will be on 1. But if JJ got a red card in feb then his tally would go back to zero( which is what they mean by losing videos)

two yellows equal to red. There's no need of a decision from some authority. It's honestly a lot of self discpline and humbleness. Like JJ won't get mad that he got a red. He'll accept it and they try to work around it if he has a busy schedule.

You can tell who's video it is based on who does the intro or who's the host so that's why Simon is always the host he does the gameshows usually

@@sebs2210 pretty sure money is still kept as evenly split among all the members regardless. however, this system highlight the members that are lacking in work rate and productivity and give other members excuses to call them out on it. basically, if the other sidemen are working harder than you but you both earn the same money, how would that make you feel? they are all mates as well so would not want to ruin that relationship in order to sustain this massive "sidemen" brand that they have built. I think that the sidemen has outdone themselves were they raised the bar so high that their fans always expect a banger videos every week, if they make like an average vid their fans would say that they fell of or smth.

It means it doesn’t count for their part of contributing videos, they all have to come up with ideas but they lose an idea and have to come up with another one when they get a red card

Maybe not moving the camera so much and get a shot with everyone in not moving so much

@@hate.it.here_ffs It's not a singular person mate, Simon agrees that his podcast channel isn't doing as well as what he expected and that it is dying at a quick rate. "Other people" clearly don't like it as much as what you're saying, otherwise their channel wouldn't be dying the way that it is. Look at the recent video views, and subscribers. It's a common opinion of the podcast, not just my own.

That means you're doing all the work. That just doesn't work. The reason they split the workload is because some of the planning takes ages and not all weeks can be shot and uploaded chronologically. Scouting out a hide and seek takes a day, but setting up a holiday takes months of planning and scouting, meanwhile you'd still have to do tinders, gameshows and all that, which all also take weeks of prep.

Nope. It’s been stated that they vote on which video idea will be done on Sidemen Sundays. Then afterwards, someone is assigned to handle the planning and preparations for the video. The one assigned is not responsible for choosing the video idea lol, that’s not how their system works.
