By this race, the crowd is pickin' up on her fabulousness. :)
Zenyatta smashes the stakes record in this one!
On the final stretch, you can almost hear the other horses coughing, choking and struggling to keep their speed, and Zenyatta is just running by like: "Hey, girls! Shall we go for another round?"
Race 3 and no whip yet that I've seen. Amazing!
Nice work by Gomez after the saddle slips.

IF I WAS A HORSE AND SAW ZENYATTA WAS IN THE SAME RACE, I WOULD JUST WALK OFF THE TRACK AND SAY WHY BOTHER. YOU GOTTA LOVE ZENYATTA.

No whip. Racing needs more zenyattas if they're really going to cut the whipping out.

or maybe baffert was willing to ship his horse east unlike the moss who when they finally did they got beaten by a pathetic run of the mill colt named blame.lets face it all of those west coast fillies and mares were garbage and thats all we got to see zen run against.it was a damn shame that her connections never ran her in any of the 3 big gr1 races in cali that were open class they were more worried about records than truly seeing how good she was.

Well, they finally got brave and sent her against all the best fillies in the Breeders cup in 2008 and then brave enough to have her face all the finest males in the country in 2009 in the Classic and she ran by them, and then face them all again as a six year old in 2010 classic. There were plenty of good colts in the 2010 Classic and she beat all but Blame and that was only because Smith kept her too far back too late, Quality Road held her up, and Blame had the inside rail the final stretch with no hindrance. She was still eating Blame up at the wire.
