Update: The weekly boss clears also give inter-knot xp at the outpost, you can complete them 3 times a week, they give xp and cost no battery energy to do. It is also recommended not to do these right away upon unlocking them and see if you can do the next rank of them before the weekly reset if you are just starting out.

something worth mentioning is that instead of having to go to each different street in the overworld to check for quests, you can simply just open the fast travel menu and hover on one of the streets to see if they have any quests available or if there are any agent trust events there, its shown right at the bottom of your screen

It still pays to visit the streets to see if there's some hidden quests tho, so keep that in mind
