I've seen so many videos criticizing ZZZ for cowpoop reasons with braindead arguments, that until the fence part I though that this was just another one of them! Then I checked the description and yeah, that's just good satire! (In advance, I know that the game is far from perfect and I 100% recognize it, but damn, some people $hit on it for the dumbest reasons)

You are likely trying to be ironic + trigger people, but I feel like the irony in this video is just, how do I put it, consistent random negativity. The biggest thing is that you are pulling stuff from your ass in every capacity, I feel like if you mixed a little bit of genuine criticism with bullshit the bait would be better. Overall I think that what this video was trying to achieve is very hard to get right. The clip with fences funny, you get 4.9/10. Edit: Oh yeah, nice clickbait title too, I'm subbing

I too am a honkai enjoyer (honkai impact) It is very OG honkai gameplay just a lot smoother (since year 1 honkai pre void and himeko for anniversary) was clunky in a lot aspects I know this video is like 70% messing around but their is some truth into what is being said here

I'll say this video is pretty bad in my opinion. First off. You compare a lot to Honkai Impact 3rd; I play the game too. But you have to look at this as its own independent thing, and you can compare, but overall the judgment has to be based upon the game and what it offers. The simplicity within the system is probably done to get more people into it. I love games like Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, and Metal Gear Rising, so the gameplay definitely feels simple by default (also the fact I play Hi3). But one of my friends who NEVER plays action games is able to really enjoy it. So kudos for that. I figure they'll release things later that are harder, but for now the simplified combat feels and looks really good, especially to someone not familiar with more mechanic-heavy, nuanced Hack-n-Slash games. Next is the aesthetic are good. The random NPCs are well done, and designs are decent. They probably stole from Splatoon, but considering their previous hit Genshin Impact was a ripoff of LoZ: BoTW, you have to take it how it is. Also, the fences shouldn't confuse you. They're FENCES. Many games have used in-game barriers to prohibit movement, this is not something new within ZZZ and it doesn't disorient. The only places we can really go from fences are the Parking Lot/Train Station. So any other place is just a boundary/border. No idea why aesthetics are so low based upon this. Right now I am just getting to Chapter 2 so can't speak on Story Mode yet. However, you're giving this game an extremely bad shake by not accurately judging what it has going for it. You need to look at the game as an independent entity while taking into account the target audience. Honkai Impact 3rd is amazing, complex, and the battle is phenomenal. However, even them breaking down how to upgrade, simplified combat, and everything going into it was made to hook a more casual audience, and does a very good job at that.

my review of this review reminds me of how this guy refences nintendo who made mario and mario eats mushrooms that one time and then threw himself into a fence 5/55 gameplay too many fences also splatoon is gay and ripped off foamstars mihoyo should think twice before they create fence-ion impact again

The game is not failing but he is right that it is flawed by design. If they don't improve the fighting system they will soon hit a wall where the only thing they can do is damage creep into oblivion(like in hsr) which will make the game even more boring. ZZZ isn't as good when you played their previous game. I'm talking strictly about gameplay. It is fine to like this game. It's just not for everybody, especially not for people who love the genre. This means that there will be a lot of negative voices especially from people who care about improving the space.

And a new game drops and it's from a developer that already made an amazing title like that. A lot of people in this situation would be inquired to try it. The game is disappointing for them and then they stop playing. Thanks to actually trying it out they are now sure that they like it or don't. Not everybody makes their decisions based on the opinions of people on the internet. Especially when it's a free game so trying it out only costs you time. In this case I can say what I didn't like about it, what I did like about, what can be improved from my perspective and how they could improve it. It's called constructive criticism. Because people give them feedback they can now use it to make other games that will be directed at that particular crowd or they can use it to improve current ones so they will appeal to broader audience. If not for feedback blazblue would never receive a technical and basic fighting modes. It's more of a practical application of what I just explained
