what intrigues me is that star rail is 20 gbs smaller and also not an open world. so i wonder if the size is just bc there's smth different to the way this game is designed, or if they just haven't gotten to optimizing the game yet

and these cutscenes are pre-renderized, that's why, I remember when I played Final Fantasy XIII, the game wasn't big, but the size of it, like 80gb just because the cutscenes were pre-renderized, both look cool btw

most players may probably get to level 40+ by the time 1.1 update happens anyways. If we are level 40+ already then we are far ahead of the planned content schedule when 1.1 and beyond are the level 40+ contents release

Let me summarise. Theres like a rift appeared, ppl on the world make it as if it was a normal thing, it can corrupt human, animals and something that is look like alive. Different monster can fuse and turn into powerfull monster. Alot of investigator tryin to research it and found out where does it coming from. Some time pass on, we are like a coders or a hackers helping agents. Inside the place, not just monster are in there, there are ppl still staying, alot of criminal and some special company or Security.

down time or "boring time" (it's not) is needed before everything goes berserk, because look at jjk, Shibuya and Shinjuku showdown happens so fast people didnt get to see and have more time with the characters

Tbh only the intermission to progress the story sometimes its boring or else everything is pretty good im ngl. People hating it as if other game aren't just going around and speaking to npc, these tryharders just literally asking a game for casual to have more enemies with Souls game difficulty and always let you kiss the ground if you're not locked in 😂😂

​​@@Excog_ basically enemies that are soul linked need to be killed at the relatively the same time otherwise one would revive at half their hp It's not too bad if you can quickly kill enemies but if they're tanky af then the fight just becomes a ping pong match making sure to kill both enemies before one revives

I feel like the combat is a mix of PGR and HI3. PGR: the Cerberus team combat like flashtime and chain attack,HI3 for its somewhat slow paced and easy to read combat. Well this is my view on the gameplay but it’s somewhat fun.
