Finally a company that meets up to what they rate the product for in terms of power. Good review. I like that you mentioned the price up front instead of making the viewers wait to the end. Sometimes the price dictates whether the product will be appropriate for the user. That way they don't have to waste time viewing a review that in the long term will not be in their budget. I would prefer that they incorporate Lithium Iron Phosphate in their generators. Nice to know that there is an option for the lower power producing generator along those terms. The overall appearance of the product is appealing to the eye. Also like that there are wheels. The app. also has a visual appeal. Bluetooth would've been nice. I'm sure there are many out there that will consider buying this product. Looking forward to your future reviews.

After searching through a gazillion review videos (many on your channel, thumbs up), finally find a product that speaks to me. I really like the positioning of outlets/ inlets/ display. I love how it doesn't look like a big block. It is very esthetically pleasing and functional. I like the functionality of the app. Would definitely make use of it. I'm planning a cargo trailer conversion with a dedicated solar system. This is what I'm looking for as an augment to that system. I live in the pacific northwest so, as you might imagine, solar is pretty dicey for at least half of the year. Something portable that I can charge separately (and sometimes congruently evidently) for a backup, is pretty great. Looks kinda like a mission impossible briefcase full of plutonium. I think that lithium nmc will be perfect for my needs. Thank you so much. You are very professional with just the right amount of dillydally.

As you pointed out at 18:20 in the video, the battery technology in this unit uses Cobalt. I think "the elephant in the room" that you were referring to was the shorter life of this unit's battery compared to LiFePO4 batteries. I'm sure there are folks that would be concerned about that, but there is an even bigger elephant over on the other side of the room, so to speak. If you do some research into Cobalt mining in The Congo, I think you may find that you don't want to promote that battery technology until some changes are made in how Cobalt is acquired. LiFePo4 batteries don't use Cobalt and will be the only power source I personally will be using, at least for the near term. I was pretty excited about this unit until you started describing the actual battery. Maybe they will develop a comparable unit with a different battery type. I hope so because you really had me stoked for this one.

Great video but I have a question for you. When it reaches 100% when charging from solar does it shut off the input? I just reviewed the Vanpowers super power pro 1500 which is identical to the Zendure and mine continues to charge well after it reaches 100% and it is concerning.

For those of us who are unfamiliar with a ‘safe’ zone for AC wall charging…I found this- A typical American 15 amp 120 volt receptacle is rated at 15*120=1800 watt. However, for a continuous load we need to reduce that to 80% per NEC. That gives you 1440 Watts.

@@EricReviews since these 12v ports typically don't handle more than 10A, you really don't need anything super heavy. 14-16 awg should be fine. I actually just took a spare 12v accessory that I already had and clipped off one end so I could wire it to the tester. They're all pretty much gauged the same anyway.

I had heard that they are re-releasing the SBP units to feature wifi/bluetooth and will be getting rid of the 4g connectivity.. This might be called something different like SBP+? or something but what your probably seeing is them just preparing the app functions for that. The 4G is a pretty sweet feature to have available, but honestly, I actually never used mine that way, and preferred to have bluetooth available instead. I had also heard that it was causing more underlying issues internally so they might be getting rid of it for stability, until they can really dial it in. All in all tho, I HIGHLY recommend this unit and am stoked to see what else Zendure comes out with in the future!

Well, you don't NEED the 4G connection really. They give it to you for free for the first year - which is enough to get any necessary FW updates. After that though, you can connect to it via the unit's WiFi connection - although as I mention in the video, I'd prefer a BT connection with the app vs WiFi, but either way, it works well enough with no internet connection at all.
