Her first movie after 3 years came out 3 months ago. Before that, there was a 3 year gap where she wasn't in any movies. Her debut as a lead came out less than a month ago. She's not in nearly as many movies as you're portraying she is.

@@blaquelightning6149 i think the person only watches ones that r heavily advertised which usually involve same actors on trending most of the time, yes im looking at the amount of dune posters everywhere i go n maybe zendaya's new tennis movie, cinema n theatre in my place is unfortunately limited

finally someone noticed.. her bland and bad acting. i dont think she deserve that emmy.

Glad someone says it...cause she's always been an AVERAGE actress to me. She's absolutely beautiful; but pretty privilege is 100% beefing up her career. Only ounce of decent acting I've see her, just barely do, was when she was hopped up on drugs in Euphoria and had to attack her mom and everyone around her. And her singing is cute. I honestly prefer her singing over her acting even though it's pretty mid and she's not a major vocalist (but neither is Selena Gomez and look how overrated she is too).

Exactly, I would not judge her appearance but her acting isn't so memorizing. I can name better actresses for most of the role that Zendaya has casted in. She is an okayish actress who is good at acting herself rather than the character itself.

Agreed I saw her in both dune and challengers and I was very underwhelmed by her portrayals mainly bc she haven’t fully developed and grown as a actress, I’ve watched her since I was in elementary school starting with shake it off and watched almost everything she’s been in and there’s little to no growth even on euphoria, she had a few scenes but everything else ain’t it. There’s also the issue of when she’s in a film/TV project in a ensemble cast she gets outshined by everyone like both Josh oConnor and Mike Faust really stoled the show in challengers they did better jobs at playing the duality of the characters’ different development within their ages and personalities, then there’s dune part 2 where everyone else completely transforms themselves into this universe of the film setting having different accents, body movements and different levels of emotions while Zendaya is like herself same monoracial California voice and same over the top facial expressions the only thing transformative about her was the different blue colored eyes. And even speaking on euphoria she gets outshined by her co stars specifically storm Reid, Jacob elordi and Sydney Sweeney, I just think Zendaya’s hype is relayed on her social media following, her fashion choices and her being Hollywood’s acceptable version of a Gen Z black girl she has all the ingredients to be this new generation movie star everything expect for the acting talent, she doesn’t have the range to be a character actor like Meryl Streep, viola Davis, Angela Bassett or cate Blanchett nor does she has the range to be a great personality actor like Julia Roberts, Sandra bullock, Katharine Hepburn, Emma stone or Jennifer Lawrence. I feel everyone is banking her potential when she’s still underdeveloped with both her talent and filmography and I feel everyone just need to allow her to breath and grow bc the potential is there but it haven’t become a legit reality

I haven't seen much of her work. Recently watched dune 2 and tbh she was the only weak part for me, her acting felt a little off to me, she wasn't bad but everyone else did such an amazing job that she paled in comparison.

I didn’t enjoy her acting in dune, her accent was different like the rest of the Navi is it? Everyone else brought their characters to life and she was still Zendaya 🤷‍♀️

lol Tom is only famous because of Spider-Man be so forreal he’s career and even he himself isn’t respected there is a reason when they are seen it always label Zendaya and her boyfriend Tom holland she’s the one with a respected career

This video is not okay with me. Zendaya is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and she is an amazing actress who has done well in every role she's had. Also she's a singer , model, director...she SUCCESSFUL as hell. People are only saying rude and derogatory comments about her because of jealousy and low self esteem or another personal issue. This video is bullying (that's how I feel I don't care what anyone has to say to me about it) She isn't "mid" or "average" ..she is exceptional . Period
