I think black girls tend to look a little mature when they're younger... they have more structured cheekbones and whatnot. My 10 year old is as tall as her 10 year old friends but her face has the defined features of a teenager, so I could definitely buy Zendaya as a 16 year old.

Actually, I can think of something. People are nicer to kids. I play a team sport, when I mess up my (new) teammates give me a pat on the back and tell me to keep it up lmao. Lmao I guess it’s nice to have support, but then you get the feeling that it’s false support. I’m 32 and people think I’m 20-24 and it’s not cool. I have to tell people my age so they’ll treat me like a woman and not a dumb, naive, and foolish little girl. As SOON as I say it everything changes. Their tone, the conversation, the respect etc etc. If I don’t bring it up I get brushed off like I don’t know what I’m talking about and usually hit on in the most disgustingly blatant ways. I went on a trip to Miami with a bunch of friends and my boyfriend(now husband). I was a home owner and had been working in corporate for about 4 years. At the airport I was selected for the pat down because my clothing had metal in it. The agent was calming and sweet saying, “don’t worry you’re not in trouble”. I’m thinking, “ wow she’s really nice”. Then she said, “where are your parents sweetheart”. all my friends busted out laughing. My face got so red because this happened in full view of the airport. She said she thought I was about 14 years old. Lmfao almost 20 years later and we still laugh about it.

As someone that also looks way younger than I am, let me say, it’s not fun at all whenever someone knocks on your door that you don’t know & they ask “Hi, are your parents home?”, getting harassed by convenient store workers over my obvious “fake” ID when I try to buy alcohol or when I get “cat called” by middle schoolers as I’m walking to my daughter’s bus stop etc etc etc 😑

That was my experience. I had my first child at 25 and scared the hell out of an old lady when my baby woke up and moved in the grocery store. She thought he was one of those dolls the kids use for class in high school. I had my third baby at 29, and a Walmart employee reprimanded me for having so many babies "so soon". I said, "I'm nearly 30. I'm not sure when you think I'm SUPPOSED to have them!" But then mid-30s came. Yikes.

That’s me. I looked older than my age in my teens then once I hit 20s people started assuming I was a teenager. I’m now 29 and I still get 18 sometimes.

Idk, but it does not really surprise me? Like it's a bit impressive but then glasses and blurred body (as she was a ghost) and not much screen time might have hidden her age a lot. I actually see how she could be 40.

Nope, when principal photography began on Chamber of Secrets, Shirley Henderson (Moaning Myrtle) was 35, a few days from 36. Still a big gap though, since the character was supposed to be 15 when she died. She's now going to be 60 in a couple years. Shirley was 38-39 when Goblet of Fire was filmed, so she was never actually in her 40s playing Myrtle as widely claimed.

I love these guys chemistry they interview so well together and seem like theyre so fun together. Reminds me of Zendaya and Timothee or the Tom Holland Spiderman trio.
