That accent fits her royalty. Link havin' the Merican accent, it fits with his common background. If there was gonna be an official project fer an anime TV series or movie that's PG-13, I'd go with Koki Uchiyama an' Josh Grelle as Breath of the Wild Link (the protag). With the usual North American accent in the English dub (like here), matchin' Link's status as a commoner who wasn't nobility or royalty. They'd totes nail the heroism, the snark (with the manipulation fer the greater good), the rudeness (even with swearin' that's gotta be PG-13), the sass, AND the comedy with his goofiness. I'd go with Mamiko Noto and Caitlin Glass as BotW Zelda (the deuteragonist with more screen time in the memories). They'd nail the character development, the kindness, AND the selflessness of the gal who had no combat skills, but had the courage AND the determination. I'd keep their romance wholesome, 'cuz he had that wholesome wish ta really see Zelda's smile again. In the Japanese version AND the Russian version, all his journal entries have HIS perspective 'cuz he's the protag (maybe more canonical than addressin' players directly). AND 'cuz the experiences he has in his adventure count as HIS experiences, not just the players'. I'd say he's like, "I gotta get Zelda outta there as fast as I can, 'cuz I wanna see her smile again with my own eyes." It just seals the deal. It drives the point home with his romantic love fer Zelda, the princess who fell in love with HIM when he was a commoner with his humble roots as the son of a commoner in the Royal Guard.

Link havin' the Merican accent. It's perfect 'cuz he's a commoner from a fam of commoners with his dad as a Royal Guard. They kept the British accent fer Zelda in this dub 'cuz it's so authentic with her royalty. Link with the Merican accent an' Zelda mostly havin' the British accent. It's perfect 'cuz they came from different classes. In the comic with shield surfin', we see that he still cares about her safety. Not just 'cuz she was his princess. Not just 'cuz he was her bodyguard 100 years ago. But 'cuz he still cared about her. That bond turned into romantic love. Turns out, the affection was mutual. It's a perfect match with the common boy AND the king's precious daughter. I'd go with Koki Uchiyama an' Josh Grelle as Breath of the Wild Link, talkin' like a punk, like Koki as Soul Evans from Soul Eater. AND Mamiko Noto and Caitlin Glass as Breath of the Wild Zelda. He shoulda said, "Keep lookin' ahead!", "Y'really coulda died! Y'really lost yer balance an' died from it!", AND "It's my fault. I shoulda really paid more attention." He also shoulda said, "Just thinkin' about ya gettin' hurt crushes my heart. An' that ain't 'cuz you's a princess. Please remember." He shoulda said, "I don't want ya doin' this when I ain't there, but...you was gettin' pretty good at it. Maybe y'got a talent fer shield surfin', princess.", "No rushin', princess. We got plenty o' time.", "Mind lettin' me give ya what I wanna give ya before gettin' started?", "I'm sorry! You's a pretty lady.", "There, I gave ya this kiss 'cuz I luv ya.", "Yeah, my darlin'.", "Y'aint s'posed to be dyin' here, AND I ain't gonna be dyin' here, neither!", "Sorry 'bout that, yo...this was makin' me pissed." AND "Y'ain't got nothin' ta worry about. We's both gettin' outta here alive. Could ya please gimme a hand?" That's how I'd expect HIM to be talkin' 'cuz he was a commoner. With the 'Merican accent 'cuz he was a commoner, not a highborn aristocrat like Zelda.

I really think Phil and Isabelle are the best voice actors for this couple. The other voices are fine and all but I like the little accent Zelda has when she’s speaking and links deep voice can match his emotion of being romantic, serious, but also quirky and shy sometimes. Isabelle and Phil are the best link and Zelda I’ve ever heard
