Quite sad that the king and his people turned against them and succumbed to fear, forcing the Sheikah to choose a side and basically forget all about their technological feats. I’d feel the same as the Yiga clan tbh. The kingdom at the time was a dick to em for being ahead of the game.

The lens of truth is way they are hidden untill they meet link and their true self is reviled, the mask they have on is the mask of truth, and the sickle is the weapons that most of them use to fight link. Do they use the trio of truth as way of showing they are what true Sheikah are ment to be after the kingdom feared their power?

It just now occurred to me that the Shadow Temple Boss, Bongo Bongo, is in the shape of the Sheikah crest upside down. The body that hangs from the ceiling is the handle or shaft of the crest, and the weakness, the eye, is the eye from the Sheikah crest. The spike portion surrounding Bongo Bongo's eye that protects his weakness represents the spikes on the top of the crest. Bongo Bongo is the Sheikah emblem upside down!

Three were created, originally, to watch over the main realms: Eldin, Lanayru, and Faron. These three were called upon during the Hyrulian Civil War to aid in the fight against the Twili/Dark Interlopers/evil Sheikah; the three spirits sealed away the power of the Fused Shadows and the Twili were defeated, put to death and sealed in the Shadow Temple, or banished through the Mirror of Twilight to become the Twili as we know them. The fourth Light Spirit, Ordona, was likely created much later when the village of Ordon was founded in/near Kokiri Forest by Link and his wife Malon. I find it more likely that the Light Spirits, like the Dragons, were created by the Goddess Hylia or by the Golden Goddesses themselves.

I noticed an error on the narration. In the breath of the wild section/era, when the 4 divine beasts are named right afterwards it is said that they are piloted by the Goron, Zora, Gerudo, and "Riju" tribes. Riju was the Gerudo princess in botw. I believe what you mean to say is the "Rito" tribe. Just thought I'd let u know

Maybe I've missed something, but where did the Sheikah come from? It seems to be clear in Skyward Sword that they existed long before the initial conflict between Demise and Hylia, given the existence of the highly advanced Lanayru Mining Facility, although the time shift stones do not make it clear how much time has passed when they are activated. We can only assume that the facility was in operation up until Hylia's battle with Demise, which was a thousand-or-so years before the events of the game.

If Impa has more or less control of time then is it not possible that the impact we see in all games is the same one? She could travel back and forth through time, living multiple lives, guiding multiple Links, saving multiple Zelda's.

I don’t feel like the Twili are banished Sheikah, even if they have inconsistent eye motifs that you sometimes have to strain your eye for, if anything I feel like they could be Zonai since the introduction of them in Tears of the Kingdom, their technology and architecture have similar detailing and the eye motif seen in the Twili architecture/fused shadow doesn’t always have the tear accompanying it, I find it reflecting the Zonai’s 3rd eye more than anything we’ve seen before.
