Also, I’m not really sure if you’re interested in having a deep discussion via a KZread comment lol, but your thoughts on common vs talented people intrigued me. I think a lot of our culture has a warped perspective when it comes to what makes a person “talented” or not, since we tend to define talent backwards-we look at successful, prominent people and assume they got there because of talent. We ascribe “talent” only after we determine they’re in a spot we assume required talent in the first place. This sets us up for all sorts of negative comparisons, since hey, if I’m not where they are I must not be talented myself! In my experience, I think looking at a person’s social station or job isn’t a good predictor of their overall talent. Most often it’s a function of how well a person has managed to avoid catastrophe in their life. Some of it takes good decision making, but a bunch of it is down to chance. I’ve talked with a lot of people in my line of work, from the richest folks you can imagine to people living in homeless shelters. Maybe it’s just a quirk of mine, but to me everyone’s story is interesting to listen to, whether or not it comes attached to social prestige. Anyhoo, you didn’t ask for all this, but gosh darn if you didn’t get me to rambling. It’s thoughts like these that makes me enjoy these randomizers so much. I hope all is well!

I believe that talent exists but nothing beats working hard and practicing to earn something even if someone has talent practice can help them get even better it's kind of like having talent just gives you a head start but someone without talent can still achieve just as much as someone with talent as long as they dedicate themselves to practicing

You got caught in a rip tide/rip current! I grew up near plenty of beaches so I was thoroughly educated on what to do if that happens. You actually did probably the most dangerous thing, swimming straight back into it, what they say to do is swim to the side until you don’t feel the current anymore, then swim back. That way, you’re not wasting energy fighting against it.

The things i love about your randomizers is that it takes me back when i was kid and one of my friend that was good at oot and mm was playing and i was sitting beside him and we would just talk for hours while he played the game with the occasional smash bros game in between. Your vids got that old playing video game with a friend in real life not like discord or something else.

Serious case of bullying with all the bloopees and recovery hearts in that first hour. 😂

One of my favorite new settings (though you have to use a dev branch) is randomizing dungeon entrances and boss entrances and mixing the pools so that you end up at the boss door of one dungeon and instead of a boss there's another dungeon behind it. Potsanity on the other hand seems really cool but it means you have to check all the random & obscure places where pots are that nobody remembers them being - and the guard house in the Market ends up having half of the checks in the game lol

Makes me want to do another randomizer, oh for the windmill as adult you should be able to just straight up grab the ledge and phase through the platform on the top of spinning mill instead of trying to get on the ledge and jumping. Its been awhile tho im not 100%

I love these! I love how long this is (I watch while I’m working), I could listen to you talk about anything (I do like it when you are more positive but I also listen to the -ones. Sometimes the -ones it’s like I just wanna help you. Like I would let you move into our spare bedroom and I could help you find a job and we could get your KZread select perfectly lol I know that’s super random but when you talk negative it just makes me want to help you! I don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet but the instrument that makes the Goron squeaks, as you called it, is the cuica. I'm fairly certain that's what it is.

Rise Against is great! I would have "Kotov Syndrome" and "From Heads Unworthy" as my favorites, but their Rock Am Ring performance of "Chamber the Cartridge" is breathtaking.
