I missed the Death Mountain song in the Dark World. 😭😭 Where would you rank it? And do you have any other hot takes on the list placements?

When I clicked on this video, the dark Death Mountain theme was the ONE I was immediately looking for, haha. It gets stuck in my head. Even the songs that don't stand well on their own do a good job of contributing to the feel of the area. Personally I wouldn't put any track from this game below B!

@@Eradin I know right, such an insane thing to overlook in hindsight. I was too focused on getting the technical side of things working. And I agree with you that all tracks do something to the feel of the respective area. But a pinch of tension makes things more interesting 😁

@@Eradinagreed. I think even the lowest themes in ALttP aren’t lower than B. Even the dungeon themes(Hyrule castle aside), while overly used, are pretty good. Some of these I never would’ve imagined someone putting in C! But it’s also cool to see someone with a unique take on it.
Falling Rain is S tier for me. I listen to it everytime there’s a daytime thunderstorm

Ohh, is that so? I like everyday habits like that, songs that you connect to events (be it small or big).
Love this! Best song imo is probably Staff Roll. Next up could be maybe Chrono Trigger or Super Metroid :) Keep 'em coming.

The whole thing is classic at this point but there are some low-performing ones that needs to be called out in there. I'm only doing my job as a VGM guard! 😉
...We're gonna rank the music in 5 different tiers; D-tier ,C-tier ,B-tier ,A-tier and Hyrule Castle-tier.

I do wish you chould change the dungeon music between the different verisons. As I did miss the light world dungeon theme a few dungeons into the dark world.

I fully agree with you! Or if the dark world had one additional dungeon theme to alternate with to keep things a bit more interesting.
