In this video, Did You Know Gaming takes a look at some facts, secrets and Easter eggs from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Breath of the Wild was made for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U by Nintendo. The game's open world was inspired by the failures of Skyward Sword, and BotW development also led to the production of The Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD. The game follows Link, who along with Zelda tries to combat the evil Calamity Ganon.

I love how the music in this game is so minimalistic in the overworld places. The music feels almost unfinished and broken, which symbolises the downfall and run down condition of Hyrule after Calamity Ganon took over, which is an insanely smart move.

null things like this are made for the players to pick up on. Put it this way, the reason the ambience music feels like it is broken into pieces is not because the composers were lazy. I'm not inferring that there is no other reason, but that's the reason I believe the music is why it is. There's a deeper meaning to everything, further exploration into things can help find the meaning

Scar It doesn't get a lot of hate as you might think. It's got a high user rating on Metacritic and I constantly see people praise it on numerous social media sites. There's also the fact that it's got a ton of game awards. Far from hated. It may look like though because the people who didn't like it are vocal about it (which I get). But I think there are more people who are positive towards it than negative.

Breath of the Wild is the first 3D Zelda that I genuinely have come to love for how much it harks back to the feel of the original NES game which is my all-time favorite in the series.... I only wish they hadn't completely skimped on standard dungeons in lieu of all those damn puzzle shrines. Hyrule Castle was practically the only dungeon so to speak and I loved it's branching non-linear design with multiple points of entry. It just needed 1 to 3 more of those and I would consider it a perfect game. Those literal "hedge maze" structures at certain points in the world were a poor substitution.

The first time I laid eyes on this game was when I was sitting at the local mall charging my cellphone because hurricane Maria had come through so the power was out. I was playing some stick figure game on my phone until this guy sits next to me with what looked like an iPad but then I see him playing this game and asked "Zelda on an ipad?" And that's when he explained what it was. He went as far as to let me play it for a little bit and I couldn't believe my eyes how nice this thing looked! I'm an Xbox player so the last Nintendo console I played is GameCube but this game looks so damned neat I'll have to get a Switch just to play this!

Other companies don’t have big names like Zelda, so putting lots of time in a game to get mediocre sales would be bad.

As much as I appreciate the massive changes this game made (and the series really needed it), I really hope there's another game on the Switch that goes back to natural, diverse looking dungeons and strong overworld music. Only having 4 dungeons, as well as them looking the same, was really a let down later in the game. Also important would be a humanoid antagonist with a personality and a really strong reason to dislike. Over all though this game was excellent and needed. Combat was harder and deeper, the world was genuinely interesting, excellent boss fights, great aesthetic, art-style, and music (when there was any.)

Yup, there's a plethora of great music in this game you just need to browse through the soundtrack to hear that. It's just that the music is more complex and less whistle or humming friendly than much of the earlier iconic Zelda music. There are also many great tracks that are only played once you are in the divine beasts or when you attack them, certain tracks that are unique to cut-scenes and or characters and lastly music that is unique to specific locations.

There was way more than 4 dungeons though if you look at all the shrines. I'm not saying each shrine would count as one dungeon but you could easily get 5 huge dungeons worth out of the shrines and honestly that's lowballing it.

Looking deeper into the Iwata tribute, "Satori Mountain" also refers toward the Satori yokai in japanese folklore which are found in the mountains and are often depicted with extra eyes since they are enlightened and are able to read (satoru) people's minds. If they are attacked, they are known to run away in fear. Usually, Satori are depicted as hominoid, but they probably combined its appearance with that of a Kirin, which a majestic horse-like creature with a flowing mane and deer like horns, known to be rare, powerful and holy.

although the exploration in Breath of the Wild was amazing, I want the next game to focus on Interactions and Story. I want there to be more classic enemies ths t we never saw in Zelda, Like Tektites, Stalfos, and Deku Babas. I want to help the land with their problems, and explore a world that is not taken over by an evil force, but still is targeted by a threat. Take the Amazing new additions of breath of the Wild, tone done the exploration, and add in the quirkiness of previous titles and I'll be happy. Regardless of everything I've said, I will be excited for whatever they decide to so for the next game. if it is still mostly exploration, I'll be fine.
