7:49 you forgot to mention; the set bonus is faster swim speed but the level 2 set bonus is a massive reduction in the stamina cost to swim-dash. it goes from 20% to like 5%, so you can spam dash in water all day

So. You take the Snowquill set. You dye it orange. You wear the Orange Snowquill shirt and pants with either no headgear, or one of the headgear that does not cover your head much or at all. You complete the final trials of the Sword. You draw the fully powered Master Sword while wearing the orange Snowquill shirt and pants. You now look like Luke Skywalker in his rebel pilot outfit using his blue lightsaber in Episode V. You're welcome.

.....the rubber helm is obtained at the "hidden in trees" stable near the faron tower by talking to the person that would change your horse's mane and gear and then climbing to the top and taking/throwing off the axe on the horse looking roof

Finally got to this game. Thanks for the list! I, too, think the Hylian Hood with the Soldier's gear looks quite awesome.

You can also get the voe armour from tarrey town when you complete the side quest from the ground up.

I just hate that some costumes are from amiibo, so I can't get all of them, I only have the ocarina of time amiibo and the wolf link one, I guess I could ask my friends, but this is a big complaint I have with this game! And I am a completionist so don't say I don't need them. Nintendo the company that makes you pay $200 for a single game!

Wow. Talk about thorough! I can't even comprehend how much time and effort went into making this... especially considering all of the game time spent to obtain each of these items. Well, just know that it's very much appreciated! Great work 🤙

It should be noted that the Soldier's Set may not give any special bonus effects, but it DOES have the highest flat defense values of any gear in the game, making it very useful for more "standard" fight environments like bosses or things like Lynels. To me that made it much more than just a set to use for looks.

The soldier's greaves, Champion Tunic, and amber earrings/daimond circlet is a variety armor set with few passive bonuses, but it gives high defense and lets you go ham against gardians, due to a reduced risk factor. Barbarian Leg wrapings, Gerudo top (male) and Hylian hood just looks cool AF for a link meant to be a warrior god

4:42 actually I found that you can wear other things into Gerudo town. From what i’ve found, you must still wear the gerudo vai top, but you can switch out the headpiece for the thunder helm and still get in. Also, for the pants, you can switch them out with sand or snow boots and still get in.

Dam link, ur in the spotlight..all eyes are on u but ur doing a good job by standing there showing off some bad ass armour

if you upgrade your tracker ruin and take pics of items you can use your radar to track down materials and items and weapons and animals whatever you set to track i found this very useful

How about a guide on how to get materials to upgrade everything to level 2 and 3? Cuz man I haven't seen one of those bugs needed for the stealth set in like 10 hours of gameplay, been all over the place completing shrines and killing taluses.

These were my favorite armor sets to use: Barbarian set, Desert Voe, Amber Earrings, and Thunder Helm. The Desert Voe armor I used a lot early-game, Amber Earrings I used when I needed a lot of defense (fighting boss-monsters and guardians), I use the Thunder Helm whenever there's lightning, and I mostly just use the Barbarian set now that I almost have it fully upgraded.

You forgot to mention the hidden shop that sells several of these sets (Climbing, Barbarian, etc.) plus the Hylian Shield. To unlock it, first do the homeowner sidequest (Read: Buy a house), which in turn opens up a sidequest chain that effectively builds a whole new village from the ground up. Once completed, the shop will be there. Also, if you complete the plateau before getting the warm doublet, a chest will appear in the old man's house, and you can get it there. It seems the game REALLY wants you to get that thing.

I know the Fierce Deity set is in this game I just want to know how to get it.

such a good useful video. I keep going back to it to find more gear. I wouldn't mind a time stamp in the description though of when you are talking about each set (also to be super helpful, a super short description of like climbing gear, swimming gear, stealth gear, etc)

I can't believe that this game is now almost 4 years old.

I tend to walk around with the steal armor on. That way I can get closer to bugs and when running at night get the speed boost. I find those to be the nicest walking around perks.

You can also get the Desert Voe set after doing part of the “From the Ground up” side quest

Soldier armor ups your defense same with hylian set and also amber earings. Hero’s tunic has the highest defense for a single piece. Once you upgrade all of these defense goes even higher and you hardly get hurt when you’re hit.

So much useful stuff in here! Thanks for this man!

Out of all the armor sets in this game, my favourite has to be the soldiers armor. When you fully upgrade it, you can take a lot a damage.

Replace the soldier shirt with the champion tunic. You take almost the same amount of damage and you see enemy health

You can get a pretty nice traditional looking outfit by getting the Cap of the Wild (Requires you to find and complete all Shrines) and mixing it with the Hylian tunic and the Hylian trousers. Dye the cap and the tunic green (The shade of green on the cap is a different shade of green so you will have to dye that as well), and then dye the trousers white or you can just keep them in base color, it really comes down to personal preference.

If I mix outifs like dark link the wild tunic, am I going to get two different bonus or no bonus?

WTF!!! Neozel! No the bonus for the wild set needs all pieces to be worn. Every lvl 2 bonus needs the whole set to be activated. You can also mix other sets but you won't get full benefits.

The set I use for when I roam around is this: Cap of the Wild Warm Doublet (dyed full green) Hylian Trousers (dyed gray) I use this set because I like to think of it as a alternate to the TP Link set

I got the Warm Doublet after I started the "Free the Divine Beast Quest" and went back to his hut :v

Rubber, Climbing and beast set is purchasable in Tarrey town on the balcony after you've achieved 1 piece of the set + You can get the male gerudo armor there aswell

As far as most basic armor sets (I haven't gotten far in the game armor-wise), I like wearing the Sheikah pants, Hylian tunic, and the Hylian hood if I'm just roaming around. It looks alright. I dye it all black, grey, or that dark purple color looks good as well.

You could crossdress Link. Totally the best videogame generation of all.

The champions top has the highest defence at max upgrade, that with the helmet and boots you will be damn strong

I got the male gerduo armor from the village you make.

i tend to use a lot the Hylian Armor and boots since it has that more classic Link-Legolas style to it XD good video mate i see the work you put into it

the dessert voe set is also sold in Tarry town, and the climber's set, rubber set, barbarian set, well-worn set, sand boots, snow boots, and the Zora greaves are also sold by Grante at Tarry town

So 57 people didn't like the fact that you got all the armor sets! 😂😂

For defense purpose, Soldier set i found to be easily upgraded to max with defense total to 84. Pretty good deal to fight any boss.

I would like it if we could flirt with enemies or NPCs with the Gerudo Set.
