Yeah, I almost felt sorry for it. Poor thing looked so confused about suddenly being tipped over multiple times and not even knowing what was happening.

I once tipped a gurdian off the side of a mountain by shooting it in the eye with an arrow, it eventually rolled into a pool of lava and died (this was in the Eldin Mountains.)

There's no critical hit sound effect when firing an arrow at it, and the damage done with either bow or melee weapon doesn't seem all that different than the damage done by hitting the hull.

The other night, my buddies and I went out to our neighbors pasture and tipped some guardians. Pretty funny watching them squirm to get up!

If you need Cores, farming Flying Guardians is a good method I think.

I already made a video guide of a good spot to farm flying and roaming guardians at the maze in close proximity to each other. Flying guardians probably have the same chance of dropping cores as stalkers so just save before killing one and you can soft reset until you get a core.

first people saw the guardian and were like: HOLY FUCK RUN AWAY!!!! now that would know more about it they go: WOAH A GUARDIAN! LETS FUCK IT UP!!!!

I can kill them with my shield only.

The Ancient Shield is absolutely amazing against Guardians. Reflects beams back at full damage without having to parry.

Just don't get it confused with a guardian shield. The guardian shield only works on guardian scouts (the little ones)

Soohable You say that like you're the only one who can do that. If you didn't know, that's probably the most common way to destroy Guardians. And it's also the second easiest way, so what you said isn't much of an accomplishment

He's all like "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?!?!" Link is like "Die biatch!" ZELD is like "Just f*cking kill him. It won't matter"

Guardians always shoot immediately next time they see me every time I try fucking with one. No laser; it just fires.

Sure, you CAN parry their lasers back at them. Sure, you can buy/build an Ancient Shield and not have to parry at all. Sure, you can whip out the Master Sword and utterly puree them. And sure, you can give them a mercy killing with just one Ancient Arrow to the eye. *I get it*. But where's the fun in all of that? A _true_ hero take's run-of-the-mill weapons and slices the tender underbelly, rewarding you with a slow but also satisfying victory

use ancient arrow at the eye, killed in one hit!

Cool, I havent upgraded anything since my guardian armor lol pretty much all I wear except dark link for fun! True 900 seeds is overkill...most likely just will collect enough to max out inventory slots and call it quits. The completionist OCD part of me hates that but it seems just like a waste of time

I usually deal with them by running towards them as they charge a shot, Stasis+ when they're about to fire off, go ham on the front leg then deal with the next one while it's stunned, and the next one afte rit's stunned again, etc. Works great for me.

I have something similar. but no horses, but a simple bow with simple arrows. there is just to shoot in the eye to make the guardian dizzy, et go for the legs.

If you're going to hit it until it dies, I almost seems easier to just shoot in the eye once and go chop off it's legs. Then you can just do the same thing and it won't even try to shoot you

Guardians are the easiest enemies in the game. If I wanted ease I would just put an ancient arrow in its eye and move on. Was just toying with it at this point. True though that besides reflecting lasers and arrrows you can just cut off its leg while on foot and hit it to death. Same basic principle but plenty of other people already have vids of that method so...

Yeah, I know about the shield strategy and ancient arrows, that's why I said "If you're going to hit it until it dies." Granted, any of them but the flying ones aren't really worth wasting an arrow on in the first place unless they are really giving you trouble.

Ohhh, thx for pointing that out. Yes , that was a max recovery and extra heart potion made from a max raddish and some other heart giving fruits.

And i need only 1 Arrow, save the weapons ;)

Don't get me wrong. This is freaking awesome! But wouldn't it be a lot easier with the shield method? I feel like you can save those weapons for Lynnel's or other monsters. Still awesome video!

Can't remember. Got around the time I found Kakariko villa and Impa. Pretty sure it was from a chest from a nearby shrine. There are plenty of other better weapons to find though. The thing is a two handed weapon on horseback usually takes better care of cutting of a guardians legs.

that katana in the vid is the 8 fold blade from a chest in a river up the mountain side behind impa's house its a 2 hander and its fairly early game gear as it breaks rather fast the katana you wanna look out for is the Windbreaker sword its the katana the Yiga blademasters use and it has 40 damage and durability equal to a Knights claymore

Thats why you ride in on a horse from a blind spot but even if you are being locked on the horse has enough speed to dodge a laser or land a hit fast enough to break a leg and stop the beam in a stun lock.

it just means he didnt charge it from bhind and that the guardian was already turning around as guardians are pretty daft if they dont see you they dont care i walked on foot up to a guardian once and he never spotted me i tried to get its atention so i could shield counter it to death (btw 3 shield counters is enough to kill those stalkers) ive gotten pretty good at countering their lasers)
