Robert, if i went with Smart Life lenses (which you mentioned is Zeiss’ most advanced lens, does it have drivesafe benefits embedded in it? Or the benefits of DriveSafe dont crossover to SmartLife series or lens? Many thanks.

They are both excellent lenses which you can easily wear for all activities, but if you want to get the best of both worlds, then you need to get a pair of each.

Has there been a recent upgrade to smartlife lenses ? I asked about these today at Costco and was told they're on their system but cannot be ordered right now

How much are smart life usually? I have a 6 month risk free trial but curious what could be overall cost

Do you need Zeiss I-profiler to get the smartlife lenses?

How i can give the mesures for fabricates the glasses for a smart life production ? I need a special captor ?

I have myopia... By far I have used single vision lenses... Can I now use smart life lenses ?? Is normal eye prescription (having spherical,cylindrical and axis power parameters only) enough to make these smart life lenses?? (My age is 25 years and have spherical power -1.00 and -1.50 in my left and right eyes respectively and have -0.5 cylindrical powers in both eyes with some axis values...)

Yes, you can have SL lenses made to your prescription. There are more advanced measurements which can be taken to enhance your vision, but that depends on where you go to (we can take them remotely)

Do Zeiss glasses include the option for minus lenses? My vision is short-sighted and I'm currently using a (non-UV-protected) minus glasses both for everyday use and riding a bike.

I use desktop pc a lot. Have glares while driving at night and prefers to have uv protection too is there a lens with all these configurations

Hi Are rimless frames perfect if I want to put my lenses into a new frame later? Or does the position of holes change? I want to get ClearView but don't want to spend on a great frame. Might need to change it sooner than the lenses.

Maybe look at Gast frames? They are super affordable. But to answer your question, if you get plug-mounted rimless frames, that fixing tends to be universal.

It depends on the quality. for example, Ray Ban acetate + carbon fibre are really poor quality and usually fail quite quickly

Usually 1-2 weeks, but they do need to be fitted accurately to work

The word ZEISS is the newer logo, but in some market it's still a 'Z'

Hi i'm from Romania and here zeiss became a bit unpopular, most glasses shops recommend essilor because they are a lot lighter and better, what's your opinion? Does Zeiss make plastic lens or only glass?

Zeiss makes plastic and glass. I wouldn't say Essilor is lighter as they are both made from the same materials. The only exception is, Zeiss you can get in Trivex, whereas Essilor comes in polycarbonate. Both are equal in weight but Trivex is both thicker and clearer.

How dark do get adaptive sun lenses get?

It depends on the amount of UV but mine go pretty dark and are great in really bright light
