Agreed. This family teaches us alot The way Fareed sir pays attention to each. members singingand teaching Especially I appreciated when he told Gayyur to have a soft tone , shows how he wants him to pay attention to the meaning and read accordingly

2024 and I’m listening to this Kalam again when my father listened to it for the first time recently and asked me about it. Told him this was the first persian kalam after which I fell in love with persian poetry and qawwali. But while finding a good version of this kalam for my father today, I came across this version by Fareed Ayaz and Abu Muhammad and honestly it’s one of the best versions of Zihaal e Miskeen.

Imagine a world without " The Dream journey"... I know it's impossible!

Probably the best I have heard from the greatest Qawwals alive. Especially with all that young talent on show, with voices reminding one of Bade saab even. Fareed Ayaz is the ultimate showman and philosopher rolled into one and when he moves forward to the mike, its as if the whole world stops in anticipation. It would not be unfair to say Amir Khusrau would have been smiling repeatedly in appreciation from wherever he is, hearing the million nuances brought out by this amazing group

SubhanaAllah, a very beautiful melodious performance by fareed ayaz and party. The interchange between the raags was beautifully orchestrated. I have listened to some of your kalaams and this would be a perfect sing for you, as you mansuri qawwals are also very talented.

Breathtaking as always also Ghayoor bhai is a complete allrounder great command on tabla , harmonium and vocals, beautiful rendition.

Just finished watching this and I'm short on words after this. Around the 14 minute mark, where Khusrau talks about how it'll be hard for them to survive this long night if they don't catch a glimpse of their beloved - the way it's been sung, the delicate melody at that point - honestly cannot get any better. Also watch Farid Ayaz ji sitting in the middle looks eerily like their father when he and Abu ji had just begun. The cycle always continues doesn't it?

Thanks to Dream journey team, from whom, I got in contact with these maestros and finally on 1st December 2019 was able to attend their concert in Brisbane , Australia. Best evening I had in Australia.

A beautiful blend of "Persian" and "Braj Bhasa"..Amir khusro was legend... Also Hats off to the singers and Gharanas who kept it alive. Love from India♥️

The way token of appreciation was offered at 7:20 , so respectful and that is how it should normally be. The artistic work brought out by TDJ is already from a filter of greatness, whatever they upload is gold standard.

NFAK Saheb aksar druut laya mey gaatey thhey aur unka lehza thora punjabi rehta tha, lekin Pandit Fareed Ayaaz aur Abu Mohammed aksar madhyam yaa mandra laya mey gaatey hai, is wajah sey kalaam samajney mey asaani hoti hai. Pandit Fareed Ayazji ko is bhat kaa ehsaas hai, aur way baaz difficult kalaamo ko translate/explain karkey sumjaatey hai, jis karan sun-ney waaley kalaam aur sangeet dono kaa anand ley paatey hai.

Do you know which old song is that tune copied from? I have looked everywhere for years but all I can find are more recent naats with this tune but nothing older than this video. Best performance for Zehal-e-miskeen by far by anyone. From start to finish, A Masterpiece. Love this whole group. I listen to this almost everyday as gives my heart warmth. Long live the whole group this..ameen

Those expressions are possible because it is obvious he deeply feels what he sings. It's a spiritual journey for him singing, as well as for us listening.

Rendition of this kalam in Raga Bhairveen has made it unmatchable. So far the best composition of this kalam and one of the best renditions by the maestro
