Fun fact about the casting: Zee was pretty much always the one for Hia Lian ever since the writer saw him (she said that he would be the perfect person for it and no one would do it better)! Nunew was chosen by Zee himself! One day when Zee and P’Aof were driving New back, Mr. Zee said something like “if Nunew was my couple, I’d be quite alright with it” and the rest was pretty much history..

I think Zee would understand NuNew on a personal level because he too had been in a similar situation when he was paired with Saint. Everyone was still rooting for PerthSaint and when that broke up people were not happy and then Zee came in as Saint's new on-screen partner...So Zee would definitely understand the pressure and headspace of meeting expectation when Nunew is in a similar situation with Zee and having to do well in order for People to not compare him with Saint and accept him as who he is.

I cry every time I watch ZeeNuNew's clips crying. They put a lot of work into their series and work together, they are such precious sweethearts. Even though it is NuNew's first role, he did and is doing amazingly. I love them both.
