zebra

Zebras are social animals, typically living in small family groups led by a dominant male, called a stallion, who protects the herd. They communicate through vocalizations, body language, and grooming rituals, reinforcing social bonds within the group.
These equids are well-adapted to their environment, possessing excellent stamina and speed, which helps them evade predators. They have specialized digestive systems capable of efficiently processing fibrous plant material.
Despite their resemblance to horses, zebras are more untamed and less easily domesticated. They have been the subject of fascination and inspiration in art, literature, and culture, symbolizing freedom, individuality, and the wild spirit of Africa. However, zebras also face threats from habitat loss, hunting, and competition with livestock, highlighting the importance of conservation efforts to protect these iconic animals.
