East coast riders tend to be some of the best. They can ride anything

It's how this sport was birthed back in our days. All gas no brakes. Riding Snoqualmie to Baker finding anything to turn into a jump only to huck yourself as hard as you could. Getting kicked off other local mountains when nobody even knew what Snowboarding was. This kid embodies the soul of snowboarding. Doing things on the fly not for points but because he loves it. It warms my heart to see someone like this strapped in. Much respect.

I’ve had something similar happen before, obviously not dropping in to a massive kicker, but when it happened I literally didn’t know what went down I was just back on my feet. Its such a strange feeling.

Its special when you get to see somebody as talented as him enter that flow state. Not alot of people can tap into that when they need it.

@@elijahgavin6706 Western NC, the mountains are super unique, has a really good skate, longboard, and MTB scene, some of the best trout fishing in the US. It's kinda like baby Colorado with shitty snow

I love this kids mentality! All gas no brakes. Watching his "autopilot" skill blows my mind, keep killing it!

I love his vibe - "I do it because it's fun and I love doing it" mentality is way cooler than I need to get that gold medal whatever the cost 😊

Yes! This is exactly what competition snowboarding has needed! Ive been tired of the lack of inspired style in competition snowboarding where creative expression is reduced in preference for execution of a narrow set of athletically disciplined tricks. My interest in and respect for snowboarding has always been about expression of creative inspiration, first and foremost. Good to see that given the stage here and, WOW, this guy's creative style is unbelievable! Awesome! Great behind-the-scenes narrative here, too. Cant wait to see more from Zeb!

Hell yeah. Love the humility - Just have fun and flow with it. Ride for fun in your own style - Don't care about tryhards forcing tricks.
