cuz real talents usually arent really popular and they have criticism in their lyrics. and also bc of racism, unfortunetly.

I was at this show. I remember it so vividly. The performance was one of the most immersive, awe inspiring I've witnessed in some time. The musicianship was so tight and in the pocket. The lighting worked so well for the aesthetic and mood. It felt more like a religious/spiritual experience than just another Camden gig. This band are incredible!

I never heard of Zeal & Ardor before seeing them live at Hellfest 2018. It has become one of my favorite band since then. This show was so good and intense. Manuel Gagneux's voice is great. This band mixes everything I love about blues and metal. I really hope that Zeal & Ardor will be around for a very long time. Anyway, thanks for this awesome music.

I was here too ... it was incredible, no words in fact. Just a big slap in my face, my stomac and my soul.

This band is simply FANTASTIC!!! Instant fan. Gives me a breath of fresh air from all the copy/paste bands out there right now.

I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Z&A live three times now. Got to hang with all the guys as well in NJ. Down to earth and just genuine people. Took pictures, signed auto’s, etc. Most importantly though, their performance always leaves me in awe. Such passion that you just don’t get from a lot of music today. Easily my new music obsession, and if you see them live, I bet they’ll be yours too.

Built on Ashes is one of the most beautifully haunting songs i've ever heard. Its hits me everytime

When I bought Stanger Fruit, it didn't came out of my car radio for 3 months straight. This is some seriously good music.

@@sainttrish7544 I think you misunderstood my words, I was saying that it didn't left the radio player for 3 months straight, meaning I exclusively played this album for 3 months when driving, despite having a dozen other albums in my car. ^^ I agree Z&A is very unique. The idea is super original, and the execution is flawless imo :) Thanks for the compliment hehe, if you tell me what kind of subgenres you like I could point you to some tracks.

I JUST saw these guys live in Lancaster, Pa. I had no idea who they were and never heard a lick beforehand... Blew my fucking mind! Absolute grand live show. And stellar guys who were super cool afterwards! Do yourself a favor, and go see this band!!!

I am immensely grateful the band uploaded this on KZread for everyone to hear and see. I still bought the vinyl to support, but having the visuals and wider accessibility is something more bands should consider.

I was there!!!! Was the best live performance I've ever seen! Amazing night! The sound quality was just spot on. Incredible.

The best band ever! Saw them with Baroness and Deafheaven and they blew everyone out of the water. Blu ray is needed. ❤️

I was trying to reinvigorate my work colleague's interest in "metal" and I realised that Z&A is the perfect band to recommend to him. There's a formula for sure but the results are like nothing else that I've ever heard.

On second thought, I'd love to see and hear a black gospel-type choir on the stage: two right next to Manuel; one at each extreme left and right of the stage, and a couple either side of Marco, (the drummer). If the sound mixer is worth their salt, they'd replicate the experience in the soundscape. That'd be perfect!... (in my humble opinion).

Là où Meeropol (et Banville) décrivait l'incongruité, le dégoût et la résignation face à ce spectacle, Manuel Gagneux (pr)opose la colère face aux crimes perpétrés contre les noirs par les esclavagistes blancs chrétiens. La soumission et la résignation sont érigées en vertu par les religions du Livre. Ici pas de soumission, mais l'opposition et la dénonciation, et c'est justement l'étymologie de Satan : "l'adversaire, l'accusateur".
