If it's the one I'm thinking of it's got two turbo'd bike engines, one driving the front wheels, one driving the rear. I imagine you switch engines on and off...

yes this car is two turbocharged busa engines connected to some trick diffs and gearboxes must have cost a mint =D 500hp(ish) on each engine tho saw it at autosport a few years ago

Twin-engine cars are always real impressive - in a straight line. However, unless the front and rear drives are locked together on-track, mid-corner handling will be a real bear.

Who gives a fuck about a veyron? This is engineering art. That piece of overpriced, overweight kraut shit can't even begin to get close to the skill and dedication it takes to get something like this together. Even if you just pit ultima vs veyron the stock GTR720 holds all the records apart from top speed - which is limited by the gearing to 231.

This kit car is intended to be VERY fast on a v8 muscle car engine in MR configuration. They used two engines; one to drive each axle. They start out at about 200hp each, and combined, weigh a bit less than a big v8. They are able to rev in excess of 12000 rpm's and are turbocharged to increase their output to about 450hp each! I would like to see what one of these cars could do with a single RWD turbo-hayabusa, given it's considerable weight loss over a V8, without sacrificing power output.

The Veyron hasn't been the fastest production car for a long time. Both the SSC Ultimate Aero and the Keating TKR have long since exceeded it's top speed. And for your own information - British tuning house 'Z Cars' made this, technically a production car.

Its not AWD in the traditional sense. One 'Busa engine powers the front wheels, and one powers the rear wheels.
