I find her more sadden and haunted by the loss of her daughter than her husband’s from which she’s getting a kind of freedom from his death.

Went to cinema to watch it after 25 years…same feelings with different significance…life is complex, lots of losses but lots of beauty and joy…

I don’t know how many times I’ve listened to this album since I was 15... it transports me every time.

@@Hailevaranex I was totally blown away by the trilogy of this series. I like "Three Colors Red" best of all 💙🤍❤ And do you know "The Double Life of Veronica"? This is my fav of Krzysztof Kieślowski. And the songs in it are just wonderful. 💙💙💙

I am pleased that at the time I first watched this marvelous film, I immediately recognized that the music was the work of a genuine master composer. Only recently have I learned that I was right all along!

I am shedding tears here, the music corresponds with my mood, the stupid world is mourning passing of a very old woman, lovely as she was but I am crying and mourning the loss of humanity, for those lost in recent war, how did we arrive at this point when hate takes over, when people kill just to get more and more. Do we as human species deserve to survive at all? More tears from an old woman who still remembers European cities bombed by WWII, destroyed lives, haunted relatives, all gone now by events 1939-1945.

Reprise Julie sur les escaliers et Reprise Orchestrale me filent toujours des frissons... Le thème de la réécriture de la musique colle tellement à celui de la réécriture de la vie de Julie que les différentes versions de Reprise finissent presque par éclipser le thème principal de Patrice... Symbole sublime.

The duo Preisner and Kieślowski is the best integration of music in cinema that we have ever seen. The relation between music and cinema it's complicated, since the unsound cinema, in the majority of cases music sounds complete artificial and external to films, so a lot of great directors prefer the minimun use of music in their films, or not to use it at all, watch Buñuel, Dreyer, Tarkovsky, Antonioni, Bergman, even Godard.

You should check out Theo Angelopoulos' close collaboration with Greek composer Eleni Karaindrou. Together, they create some of the greatest masterpieces of world cinema!

La película me marcó, pero la música no es fondo, es contenido y cada vez que la escuchó mueve mi ser completo, pues haber llevado magistralmente la preminencia del amor (1a Corintios 13:4-13) con coros, simplemente sacude mi alma gratitud por el poder curativo del amor!!!

Años buscando volver a escuchar este soundtrack, solo tenía 12 años cuando la escuché y me marcó la vida, al escucharla siento fragancias, colores, sensaciones que nunca volví a tener...increíble cuántos años han pasado, cómo una niña pudo estar tan obsesionada con esta música, capaz he olvidado mi real esencia

My beloved one showed me the trilogy -decades ago. Then I went to the media faculty, and watched all films of Krzysztof. Still listening to Preisner in my car...Köszönöm Kedvesem!

Preisner, perhaps the greatest film composer. His music is even better than Kieslowski's filmmaking. The music for our grey times: hopeful and not trite, anguished but not despairing.

Tämän elokuvan vaikutus oli mykistävä koko elokuvayleisölle, esityksessä missä olin mukana. Kaikki jäivät istumaan hiljaisina sinne saakka, kunnes viimeinenkin lopputeksti oli hävinnyt valkokankaan uumeniin. Kenelläkään ei ollut kiire ulos tupakalle tai kylmän auton rattiin. Vaikuttava kokemus ja minusta paras näkemäni elokuva. Sisällöstä löytyy uusia tasoja jokaisella katsomiskerralla vieläkin.

I like it a lot but it is impossible to find it... Have you tried using a song finding app like Shazam or SoundHound? My only copy of the trilogy was an old VHS and I no longer have a VHS player, otherwise I would try it myself lol. If you ever find out please post a reply.
