Yep because he’s just like me I’m afraid of water because I experience a lot of times. I’m almost drowned but Zane‘s overcoming just like me when it comes to like swimming. I’m a little getting better when I come to walk in the water that’s why it’s so amazing. Dreamin is, hands down, my favorite Zayn song ever. And I love a lot of his songs. I'm not a Zayn super fan. I wasn't (and I'm still not) a one direction fan. I don't keep up with his personal life of give a shit about it, hell I only just found out he had a kid during the interviews he's done promoting this album. I didn't really even "discover" Zayn's music until well after his 2nd solo album came out, so I don't listen to his music like a fan girl, at all. When it comes to his music, I feel like my opinion is fairly objective and he's very hit or miss with me, either I love a song or I really don't care for it at all. Very few songs comes across as sounding just alright. But the ones I love, and there are quite a few between his 4 albums, are easily some of my favorite songs of all time by any artist. Dreamin is currently at the very top of that list. It may fall back a little once I'm over my initial obsession with it, but it will definitely stay near the very top forever. I'm actually shocked at how little recognition it seems to be getting. None of his interviewers have focused on it at all, even after Zayn himself has named Dreamin as his favorite and one that he's especially proud of. They just skip right over it and don't even bother asking him any follow up questions like, why it's his favorite or what about it is he proud of or what it's about. It would be one thing of it was just a song I personally really loved and felt deserved more attention, but when the artist names it as his own personal favorite in multiple interviews and it's still overlooked? That's weird. And disappointing. But mostly super weird.

It feels bad to not see him get the recognition he deserves. Man is one of the best artists in our generation but his marketing team keeps disappointing him. All the interviews booked are just mostly radio or magazine conversations instead of viral games or big brands like SNL, no promotion of music videos (like they dropped Stardust MV along with the rest of the album together on yt), even some songs which would be mega hits like False Starts have no mention, and he performed alienated twice live instead of a different song, and his tour doesn't even have an official release on yt so that people can see. As a Zqaud i wonder if there's something we could do, but oh well

I think it's intentional his team not that big and used to work for Modest management and music industry is against zayn he was blacklisted for 8 years. Universal Music also looks after Billie Eilish and they've been pushing her every where I think they choose to back Billie over zayn. Mercury records if u look are all for post Malone all the money goes there. Its not just zayn team, zayn fans really let him down he gives them gold and they complain. Alot if people at his gig, who can afford to buy things are 1D fans or Harry fans that know nothing about zayn but go for the instagram pictures....they don't listen to Zayn Some zayn fans dud not support zayn blues, folk country venture but these same people probably helped cowboy carter get no 1. Zayn youtube music video is definitely getting suppressed. KZread us known to do this Zayn not getting recognition is in a way protection. .makes me realise he's not in the corrupt, Mafia, sex trafficking Hollywood elite club like Billie, Harry, Taylor, Justin...those celebrities help each other out because they're implicated. Zayn gets little to no help or hype from celebrities He won't get recognition because he rebelled and did not obey, he left band...music industry will always hold him bsck

​@HoursaDay well said 👏🏽 plus reading back on how Zayn disliked those live TV flashy reality tv shows, snl type shows it would mske him miserable. zayn chose this lrss flashy more genuine format of interviews and he's a veteran in the industry he understands that it msy not reach everyone but that's OK because he's balancing it out with having good health and peace of mind. It means he's looking to having longevity in music industry not just to be ubiquitous and famous

@@valeskacanas9187that’s entirely wrong. zayn was unwilling to do any interviews and if you knew anything about him you’d know this. sometimes it’s his own fault and in this case it so is. he had a strong start but he stopped doing interviews (he was literally reported by multiple journalists to have left in the middle of interviews without telling anyone… sound familiar? he literally did the same thing with the band, leaving without letting anyone know. he admitted to it and everything) so implying that all those other celebrities sold their soul in order to get anyone to give a shit about them is sour and horrible. we know music is a bloodsucking industry but zayn has an almost overly supportive fanbase and his music not getting recognition is entirely the promotional issue, i agree with you there. but its not fair to bring up people who literally worked their asses off to get their place (taylor, harry, billie)

@2002stylan yes that's the usual tune of corporations "by the boot straps " whilst also enforcing polices that block. Record labels and music industry movers and shakers want people to solely blame the artist whilst they sponge off them raking in millions and general public don't know who they are. If yiu think zayn even Harry runs the music industry then that's "entirely wrong". Look to Prince, Michael Jackson, George Michael how they fought and faced up to those entities and unfortunately lost. There is so much hidden in music industry and sometimes the poor artist can only follow as under contract or their bosses control media perception and narratives. Britney Spears being drugged labelled unable to look after herself and crazy yet trafficked across border lines, forced to work and tour despite not wanting to....otherwise they dangled not seeing her kids and worse having custody of her taken away. The problem sometimes is that they stay in echo chambers and insular bubbles when it's part of a bigger picture. 🤔 however "divide and conquer" makes people distracted, fight amongst themselves and blame artist do that executives, ceos, labels can laugh all the way to the bank safe in their anonymity.

Icarus falls was incredible pop and stairs is probly aoty ,zayn never misses.

I feel that the so-called experts do know how great RUTS is and keep quiet about it. I also feel that one day they won't be able to keep quiet. Like Zayn said its The Time. It will happen ❤❤❤

I feel they do know! But deliberately belittle Zayn talent, lyrics and music. I wouldn't give the so-called experts ANY benefit of the doubt, I'd hold them accountable for their misleading music reviews, as it's their job and they should be unbiased and not compromised by corporations, other labels, other managers etc. They are being lobbied or paid to talk badly about Zayn's music. The music industry still is blacklisting Zayn. It's the strength of Zayn's natural talent, work ethic and musical growth despite it all that has kept people listening and supporting his artform. I'm a new music listener since 2020 and Nobody is Listening album. So his wish to have people come to his music organically or through word of mouth is occurring.... his way just takes time.

It's not nice to talk about Harry styles like that but I get it... not only is a Harry a flop when it comes to acting fake, being a homewrecker and being a womanizer (not held accountable by METOO) but he worse flop in humanity, being hypocritical $elling "Treat People with Kindne$$" t-$hirt$ yet supporting genocide and being family friends and close confidant to people who also believe in genocide and war crimes.
