I was okay with Zayn (obviously sad) leaving bc everyone has their own reasons to do things in life and I was pretty much with both Zayn and 1D but then Zayn's response on Harry crying "I never really talked to Harry even when I was in the band so did not expect that kinda of relationship with him" just hurt me so bad, he insulted his four to five year old friend on international TV!! That's what Harry got from a person who he had been with for so long! Harry is such a nice soul..and Harry was so heart broken from his response that after that he had no feelings left for him as we saw that when Grimmi (Idk his name) showed him Zayn's picture he was completely normal!💗😣😞

Personally, I think Zayn has every right to feel how he does. It wasn't for him. Doesn't make him or 1D bad. Each person has their own likes and dislikes. I am a huge fan of Zayn's and will support him, but 1D is also good music. I don't like country music, so does that make country music bad? No, it's just not my style. Pragya Singh I think peoples' issue came with the fact that he left right in the middle of a huge world tour and sort of left them scrambling a little bit. With the others, they finished the tour and got everything settled and then collectively decided to take a hiatus to do their own things. Zayn also said that fame wasn't for him and insinuated that he wanted to be out of the public eye and then immediately started making solo music and dissing the music One Direction made. Like?? He abandoned them at the worst possible time, lied about why he did it, and then insulted the band that got him where he was. You can see why people would be annoyed.

If he doesn’t like the type of music then he doesn’t like it....it makes perfect sense seeing as though he went on to make music that was completely opposite of 1Ds music.....THEY ALL DID. So it’s no surprise to hear him say he isn’t a fan of the music they were doing. But he respected it enough to do it. He didn’t sing like he just wanted it to be over, he put his all into each & every song & u can tell he really tried to enjoy it. How long would u pretend to love doing something you hate to do? It wouldn’t take me that long to quit. But he stayed as long as his heart allowed him to. There’s only so much u can take. The fact that nearly all of the boys are with different management and labels now says a lot. More than 1 of them have come out saying how horrible it was for them, I never knew why Zayn was the one who received all the hate. He’s in a better space now. Leave him alone

Zayn left because he was struggling with anxiety and his mental health. He needed to leave for HIM and that’s ok

I'm team both. I think the slick shots back and fourth are petty and dumb. Sheesh just leave each other alone.

waayee waayee wait till your loyal men do music together after the hiatus! they were loyal and never scared huh? my ass! if they continue as the band without doing solo stuff and touring, then thats loyalty! but they fucking gave up on the band and started doing solo projects after zayn left! they didnt remain as the band itself! so where are their loyalty and 'never being scared' are at? huh? there are doing what zayn did anyway! they are children who are scared of getting hate and trying things at very first, but doing exact the same thing after someone does it! so they get zero hate and disappointment. such a bunch of kids! keep praying for the 'Band 1D', because they fucking lie all the time that theyd come, but to be honest they will not! thats how loyal they are! thats how brave they are!

The choice was stupid really. As a group they’d still be on top right now, solo they are doing mediocre at best. Zayn has pillow talk that really made a splash but besides that nothing else really hit strong. If this was a career choice it was a bad one.

Whats confusing that the band members knew why zayn left cuz of management so why the drama

I think it is just all the drama which people started that one direction and also fifth harmony that they all hate each other, taking sides, putting one high and One low. I think we all had gone through the friendships to breakups and again overcoming forgiving and moving on, it is so common. It's just that we aren't famous so outside people's opinions can't really make up any drama, that's why people start to make these kind of stories picking sides to create drama on these famous people as if they are all aware of the story. We never know what happened, we all sometimes react in a way and later we can find it funny or stupid but should never judge because people involved have feelings and their feelings are important and their way of reacting is up to the person. We always grow from our past experiences and move on.

Sick of media pinning these boys against each other its so old, and boring hopefully Zayn & Harry is not falling into this crap of shame by media who try to draw more attention wars to pinn Harry & Zayn against each and against other boys former member 1D like Liam, Nail & Louis to pinn against each other to.

I love them all.I m a directioner and zquad.

I vote 1D all the way, I've always put them first, I'm alway going to be a Directioner. I still love Zayn, but I decided to not see him as a former member, I try to see him as a new artists that is doing his own thing. I think that this whole thing saying that 'Zayn is better' or that '1D is better' is pretty stupid tbh. You can prefer anyone you like and it's ok, but there is no need to try to compete, when you will get nothing out of it besides they are all opinions, there is no one better then another in the music industry. I love One Direction music and One Direction itself, and I also have the same love for Zayn. they are all different people with their own uniqueness which I love so all I'm saying is that everyone likes different music or styles and that's ok, just don't try to compare because that is not right and disrespectful. ^.^Love you all DIRECTIONERS♡

They broke up the band a few days before they had a concert and everyone thought it was April fools cuz the concert was on the 1st of April last year in Cape Town...Sad time for all of us😢

There wasnt any bad blood. Zayn basically saved them. They were so overworked, it makes sense. I doubt they are gonna get back together, but im glad they finally took a break from 1D, to relax a little and take a step back.

live and let live What Zayn said was true. He never like the music or the management. The media and the people are just interpreting it wrong to make him and Harry both look bad. Harry was talking about Zayn and Zayn never said anything bad about the boys. He simply said he didn’t like the music and the management.

Team both ... I was never able to pick a side and I never really wanted to.. Zayn had his reasons for leaving and I'm proud of what he has done and the rest of the boys are doing the same now and I'm extremely proud of them too ❤️ I will continue to listen to one direction music with 5 or 4 in the group and I will also be supporting all their solo careers as well 😌☺️

It's better this way now I guess. It's hard as a fan not seeing them together, but at least they are all doing what they love and that makes me so proud and happy. And for all those so called "fans" who did nothing but to compare the boys with each other and say bad things about the other, my middle finger salutes you.🖕🏻
