The fact that Targe gives his own life to save Zavala…he knew the risks even if that meant to sacrifice himself…that’s what will ghosts do…they save us from going into the darkness even if that means sacrificing themselves…R.I.P Targe 🥺😭

It was a pleasant surprise to hear Targe’s voice. I knew him as a character in the background lore and hovering around Zavala in D1, but never expected him to talk. The last cutscene where he talked down the Witness was a very good send off for him for his character (what little we knew of it). After you finish the final campaign mission, I suggest doing the “Final Days” quests from the vendor in the Arbor of Light, as they chronologically take place after the main campaign but before the true ending.

Loved the moment when you blinked over the abyss, the went "Uh, oh!" and just blinked back.

I'm always a fan of them giving voices to ghosts other than our own, after the mission it took me a sec to realize that targe was actually dead and that Zavala was now lightless

RIP Targe you were an inspiration to many ghosts. Also Zavala saying hes useless without a Ghost: Eris and Cayde-6 have joined the rhe chat

Rest in peace, Ghost Targe. Man, I yelled and cried in that moment during that cutscene. I wasn't expecting that at all to happen. Zavala and Osiris are now the 2 I know who are Lightless.

Targe was devoted to his Guardian. He showed bravery in the face of the Witness. His sacrifice managed to pull Zavala away from the Witness's tricks at the cost of his Light. And so, in his death, he will be remembered. unrelated, I'm glad to see I wasn't the ONLY one who stumbled into that hidden Prismatic fragment during the escape sequence on complete accident. hope you're still enjoying the campaign, shez!

....... Honestly, it was a delight to hear from zavala's ghost. Though we have read about him in lore i was very happy and welcoming to a new voice in cast, only to silence by the witness. Poppin-smokescreen blue ass mega mind with so many face that calling him two face is almost like giving him nickname, and the witness already has one, his nickname is "my new gun for hurting zavala so much" Well, guess im poring out a drink. To targe, the one who kept the commander going.

I was believing in the past that the veiled statues were monuments to the Witness' past, the beings that it once was. Kinda close to the truth.

Hey Shez i think you missed an exotic drop after killing the third witch, i swear i saw something golden fly. And you are in for more fun in the next step, thankfully the witness doesn't speak much. It's fun to watch you go through all the steps and seeing your reaction, oh and oddly i had to haul ass through that storm. It ate my health, but not yours. That kinda puzzled me i must say, maybe legendary means you have enough enemies and difficulty and you got a break on that 🤔..

"Devotion inspires Bravery. Bravery inspires Sacrifice. And Sacrifice leads to Death." Targe made his choice when Zavala was getting the answers we needed on how to defeat the Witness. But was it worth it? Eventually, we all have to pay our dues one day. Sometimes it's closer than we thought.
