Awesome compilation and music score . For a man who had sight, to play over 100 episodes with your eyes closed is truly remarkable ! Considering in real life he was neither a martial artist or a swordsman, it was his brother Tomisaburo Wakayama who was the expert in both. R.I.P. 🙏

The smile and that sinister laugh I cracked up , even though I know how very deadly he is in a stand off with his Iaido style you would be dead before you even knew his sword was unsheathed . Also the look of shock when he cut the flies in half and the sake bottle with the dice landing in two halves were a great comedic moments.

Also a 'turning phrase' that changes or redefines meaning. There's a lot of terrible haiku writers in these comment sections; and Zatoichi would not respect them.

The only time I saw Zatoichi lose a fight was when he fought hand to hand with those two sumo wrestlers. He offered to give them a massage in exchange for not beating him up and their response was they'll massage him instead until sparks fly out of the plugs he has for eyes lol.

When holding using reverse grip it's easier to defend against low level attacks also can do attack moves which can't be done using normal grip but normally you only see that if the warrior is using two swords then he will hold each sword in opposing grips.

@@mamepi5028 返信遅くなりました。確かに、勝新さんの姓名は奥村ですが、親戚では御座いません。日本では、よくありますように、偶然、同姓であるに過ぎません。意見は、座頭市の肖像権の概念から述べさせて頂いています。補足しますと、木枯し紋次郎役は、中村敦夫さんに限る。 です。

When holding using reverse grip it's easier to defend against low level attacks also can do attack moves which can't be done using normal grip but normally you only see that if the warrior is using two swords then he will hold each sword in opposing grips.
