I think that rubber plastic like cover on bottom is also for helping grenade to not slide or roll too much away from place where it land after you throw it.

No, it's a shock absorber for when after you throw it. It's weighted to land on the underside of the grenade.

Damn thing works so well it flashbanged me through the video lol
When you first threw the flashbang I was thinking why is he throwing it so far then bang...I was thinking holy shit who needs hand grenades when you got Russian flashbangs
Wow, and I always thought Poland and the Czesk Republic make the coolest firecrackers. 😁 What is that spacy looking grip piece on the right? First I thought the lower of a PM98, but on the second look I'm sure I'm wrong.

“Strong flash” Jesus would hate to see what it would do to someone if it went off next to them. Keep your powder dry Valgear and Godspeed!
Very interesting. Thanks.
love your vids!
nice keep up with the great work!
On camera it kind of gives the idea to be louder than a normal hand grenade. Cool finding tho. But what to me is even cooler is that AK-12 magazine, they seem good, I wish there would be a 7.62x39 version. Ps. Also lol that Tarkov's weapons are so realistic people recognize the real ones so easily.
Interesting 💡
lol Zaraa in mongolian means hedgehog. The little spikes reminded me of that.
Cool! What I would really like to see are the hockey puck shaped flashbangs from the movie "Diehard."
I love your "okay?" like there is someone here to disagree :D
Basically a European firecracker with a pull pin

"Pop it in, and you're ready to throw it on civilian population inside Russia" lol
Playing Tarkov now counts as weapons training haha. You can craft guns and thermal optics in Tarkov, maybe ask the guys if they know how to do that too

It's not a flashbang, its a concussive grenade to maim enemies. case is ceramic.
Glad to finally see this grenade in action ! I’m hoping you stay safe in Ukraine my brother, slava Ukraine 🇺🇦
can u upload some uncut combat footage
Q. Is the fuse gasless? I don't think the F1 is, from what I've seen. 👍
Also, firing grip from RPO Shmel?
I wonder if they use flash powder inside😊😮

Such quality content. "Too strong" is completely in line with the russki police - population relations. It's surprising their police doesn't use real grenades. In for a rubel, in for a dozen?
this guys play DAYZ in real life

The body is actually ceramic, and every part of the grenade is designed to be ejected into targets. The grip on the bottom is hard rubber as it's to protect the ceramic casing and provide weight so that it lands bottom first. They're also NOT flashbangs - they're concussion grenades. Concussion grenades are used as actual weapons, not utility. They're used by Russian special forces to maim, in situations where every target will be killed. They're actually miniature thermobaric weapons.

Description of Zarya 3 from Rosoboronexport: "The Zarya-3 flash/bang hand grenade is designed to temporarily suppress mental stability of an armed criminal with acoustic and light effects, which reduces his combat ability and enables special operations to be carried out with minimal risk to personnel and others." But due to the white body of this grenade, it looks more like a Plamya 2: "The Plamya-2 fixed flash/bang hand grenade is designed to provide mental and physiological effect on an offender and is used when conducting special operations to capture armed criminals and prevent riots. The grenade has a non-fragmentation casing and is completely fireproof. It can be used in the perimeter alarm systems" Why even bother with this if you want a lethal grenade? Just use a normal frag grenade.

That whole plastic sphere is full of flash powder, by the looks of that explosion. You're right, western flashbangs don't look anything like this when it explode. Question, Val. Does the rubber part come off? If so, is there white plastic underneath? I wonder if the grenade is 1 piece of white shell with a rubber bumper, or if the rubber bumper is glued on and detaches/rips apart upon explosion. If rubber shell doesn't come off, it's probably glued onto the white part. In any case, these things aren't definitely safe enough to use on civil populations by Western standards IMHO. That grenade body (hard delrin like plastic shell) just screams "fragmentation hazard". Invisible on Xray too. Not to mention the fuze, that probably also gets ejected at high speed. The white plastic body also holds the threads, and it will definitely explode along with the main charge. By comparison, typical flashbangs seen elsewhere have steel threads for the fuze and perforated steel or cardboard hulls protecting the flash powder charge. That way, there's no way for the fuze to fly off from the flash powder exploding the threads, since flash powder explodes through the holes or through the cardboard, creating no real hard fragments from the grenade body.

These aren't 'flashbangs', they're extreme concussion grenades that are used to clear high-threat rooms where no hostages will be saved. They're used by special forces.
