On the Zarúbaná Kýčera peak (884 m above sea level) in the Javorníky Mountains above the village of Veľké Rovné, there is a 15-meter-high, three-story wooden observation tower with a panoramic view. There is an arbor with a fireplace near the tower. On a clear day, the tower offers views of the Malá Fatra, Javorníky, Strážovské Mountains, Súľovské Rocks, and even the High Tatras.
There is a nature trail leading to the observation tower from the village of Veľké Rovné, local part of Ivor. We used that trail on our first visit to the tower in 2017. The second time we went to the tower by bike from Semeteš, using marked and unmarked trails along the Javorníky ridge. But there will be a separate video about that trip.
