Zamora, Ecuador. A thorough look around town.
Zamora, Ecuador. This video gives you an extensive look at the town of Zamora and a glimpse of the entrance to Podocarpus National Park, and the Amazon. We tried to get a lot of video and photos to give you a really good idea of what the town looks and feels like. It's a beautiful town, only an hour or so from Loja by bus and of course, it's right on the edge of the rainforest. We hope this video inspires you to visit!

I was there in 2019 lovely place .Did you climb the mountain track ? Cant remember the name of it

Hi Roger, thanks for watching! Yes, mostly the bus drivers are careful. Occasionally you'll get a driver who is totally insane and those trips are awful. They do crash from time to time. Luckily I've never been on one of those trips....

Thanks for watching! This was filmed over three days. I recorded video in the morning, midday, and afternoon. Quite often though, I will deliberately avoid recording if there are large groups of people, especially kids. I'll just wait a minute until they pass by. This is why many of my videos of towns don't appear to have many people in them.
What is the significance of the umbrella hanging over the street in Zamora?
