    Zambia has liberated almost the whole southern Africa, but we have been despised. So my appeal is reduce corruption, advance Zambia air force, Zambia army, Zambia national service, one of best army that was depended on during Rhodesia time. It's not wrong to say the money being stolen should have been used firstly to improve our wellbeing & your armed forces. Zambia should acquire latest fighter jets, a good number of them. latest radars, employ more officers, reduce poverty, Zambia is rich, but don't know where our resources r taken. I love Zambia, mind u don't relax, equip yourself, u r surrounded by warring nations. Big up Zambia!

    Hello! What I got is that the PPP - Private Public Partnership involving ZAF & their partners involved in construction of the ZAF civil (civilian) related infrastructure such as hotels, housing units for rent, University, hospital and other facilities which will be open to members of the public; are the ones that shall be handed over to ZAF after 25 to 29 years by their partners. The Hongdu L-15 simulators & all the Jets as well as other planes are already ZAF property, whether acquired on debt or paid for.

  • @azulu480

    5 жыл бұрын

    Why edit the posts? Unless you are scared of something I wrote. A civilized discourse on a forum such as this is where everyone sees what others post, to provide context. So why edit (actually you deleted "some" of my posts) - in response to your posts. To me, it shows that you like to exercise control. I have not edited or deleted your posts out of respect to your rights so that it provides context to others who may be reading this. So when you respond to my post an independent reader will have no idea of the context (my original post) that you are responding to. Do you understand this concept? I call this selective censorship. Why? To tailor a response to ones view point (yours I guess). I mean we are not talking about national secrets here - just a disagreement on certain events. KZread has no limit on the number of posts. I can only surmise that you like to control a discourse and show your subtle controlling and pontificating attitude (e.g. telling me to learn from being in others shoes or something like that). Where do you get this attitude of sermonizing to others?

    Wamulonjezo di So there you go again deleting my response, thus providing no context for others. This is pure and simple censorship on you part. Why are you afraid to leave my response for others to see? No I don’t own KZread - I said that very clearly in my response to you. I said its a public forum which only KZread owns and if they don’t like my posts they can delete it - but you have taken it upon you to be that person. You are not the owner as well. The ZAF channel does not belong to me (I never claimed it to be) and it does not belong to you either. If it belongs to anyone - its the person who initially posted the video (Nicholas Muchoka) not you. Do you understand that? Wow, wow - people who disagree with your interpretation of ZAFs history (specifically - one ZAF pilot flew all the deep into the then Rhodesia and back) are now considered "opposed" and are " now masquerading but the overtones are conspicuous in the writing". So let me get this. Your position is that anyone who questions your version of history is "opposed" and "masquerading" and "suspicious". Where is your tolerance? Yes you asked me about Zimbabwe and the Lancaster House “talks” (you men agreement”?) - which part (talks) are you referring to? There were a lot of talks. Please be specific. Or are you now blaming one party for not holding up the terms of the agreement (talks) that led to the devastation of Zimbabwe (that;s what I call Zimbabwe has gone through). Which party? If you are upset that I did not answer your question on Lanacster House agreement in my previous post - I can point out that you did not answer a number of questions that I posed to you (e.g. why has China occupied islands in the S. China Sea - despite international arbitration rulings). You seem to have a particular fondness for this "shield" (as seen by your comment son other youtube postings). You don’t seem to understand my statement about me being born in N. Rhodesia. It was called N. Rhodesia when I was born, not Zambia. That’s a fact of life. That made me Zambian when we got independence. As a kid I was there at Independence Stadium on Oct 24 for independence celebrations. You don’t understand that? In response to a post by Alphafort, you told that person to “Start thinking from your thorough mind .” Start practicing what you preach.

I know you don't know the role this army and air force did to the Liberation Struggle of Southern Africa,ask the formerly Rhodesian government. You want Zambia to be toothless So can do your desire anytime without fear of defense This is the same army that checked arpatheid government in South Africa

    i lived in Zambia from 1970 till 1992 and I married a Zambian Tonga woman who gave me a wonderful daughter. There were 11 mig21s at that time of which 9 crashed. The army and paramilitary forces contributed a lot to the neighbouring struggles, yes. The airforce could and did Zero. South African aircraft came and went whenever they liked into Zambian airspace . NOW There is no imininent threat now or one seen in the near future. Poverty however, is a clear and present danger NOW. My point is that THE MONEY IS URGENTLY REQUIRED ELSEWHERE. I am referring to priorities. I dont want Zambia to be toothless - i want its population to come out of its economic crisis. i hope at least the aircraft are used to patrol the game reserves against poachers.

Im not for armies or arms in this world ,to make Zambia not armed is making it a easy target for the (mark Thatchers) of this world for the highest bidders Yes you say Rhodesia bombed now and again without knowledge of the ZA and General Zuze's military exploits and Zambia's restraint in the Liberation Struggle Do you think if Zambia was like Malawi it could have been possible to assist all liberation struggles in Africa after 1965? Stop your pessimism their is no Southern African nation that speaks and rejoices in political independence without Zambia's being part of it Zambia needs to be armed and not use its army but for safety

  • @azulu480

    @azulu480

    What did I desecrate? Give me an example. Desecrate means to "treat (a sacred place or thing) with violent disrespect; violate". Where was the 'violent disrespect". Give an example. Nothing you have stated in all your posts rises to the level of "sacred". Secondly you are not Google. KZread is a public site. You did not post the first post on the original posting - the ZAF. You responded to someone questioning why Zambia needs this and that. So you are not the owner. KZread owns the platform. I have not desecrated KZread - otherwise they would have deleted my post. But it seems you are acting as the judge and the executioner - and you like doing that. If you cant tolerate others who challenge your version of history, then do not bother posting on KZread. Set up a twitter account and block responses. Learn to tolerate others opinions - you do not have to agree with them, but learn to respect one right to disagree. So again you use your favorite word "masquerading" in referring to others who do not agree with your view of hsitory. And your use of "here its God Bless Zambia only" - implies that you cannot tolertate anything that challenges your view of Zambian history. Who are you to tell others " here its God Bless Zambia only"? Now I know - you cannot tolerate an opinion that differs from you. Now lets see if you keep my response when you respond. If you delete this post of mine - willc onfirm your intolerance.

    Ken Muye this video is just propaganda for a lacking and underfunded Air Force. The planes used were old trainers and most fighting capabilities of ZAF lay in the hands of old soviet fighter aircraft. Skill of pilots is also questionable, I mean did you see the parachute training? It was a joke.

  • @kenmuye2581

    @kenmuye2581

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@sovietchadster907 well, the video & planes which you saw in the video are real. It is not propaganda as you put it, they are real & very much Zambian Chinese made Hong du L- 15 advanced trainers/fighter jets. ZAF has also Karoukron J8 & Hongdu L-8 Chinese advanced trainers/fighters, these are equally still new. I have seen them physically in 2017 at ZAF aviation open day. The video was captured during 2018 ZAF aviation open day where people from all walks of life were free to attend & appreciate their air defence wing advancements. You can also search for ZAF 2017 aviation open day on KZread, you will see another video of the same fighters on display for all to see & appreciate their air defence wing. ZAF is not underfunded these days, because the government has realised its importance, not just for war purpose/mongering but for other needs such as emergencies in terms of disasters such as floods etc, fighting poaching & delivering emergency supplies. As for the transport aeroplanes, ZAF has gone commercial, they're for any one to hire, even yourself if you can, you are free to hire them. Regarding pure fighter jets, yes we still have Russian fighters, MIG 21s in good condition & upgraded in Israel a few years ago. In short, all those planes you saw in the video are real & available with ZAF, for Zambia ready to defend its airspace territorial integrity, not propaganda. Infact, if you are in Lusaka, Mumbwa, & Mbala you will always see them training using those planes on a regular basis. You can also check on KZread Zambia special forces 2019 training on ground with air cover or support bombing targets like no man's business. Zambia has advanced militarily! Concerning the paratroopers jumping from planes, using parachutes, those were trainee paratroopers. They are still learning & their skills have nothing to do with piloting. Our pilots are well trained, during Zambia air ways days some converted to commercial piloting flying big commercial planes. Please, accept & appreciate our military advancements. BRAVO ZAF!!

  • @sovietchadster907

    @sovietchadster907

    Ken Muye I admire your commitment. Despite being stunning aircraft, the MIG-21 has been obsolete since the 80s (even with upgrades) and trainers can't provide any air support or air to air fighting capabilities. The training lacks as well, US pilots receive around 18-20 flight hours a month with Russia and China close behind while ZAF can be lucky for the pilots to receive 10 flight hours a month. Even if you don't compare to superpower nations, that's still an extremely low number. The paratrooper training was laughable, the tarp provided no training in regards to motion or movement, just basically preparing them to fall, there was no altitude or training test.

Well there you go again passing judgement on others who do not agree with your view of history or historical events. You state: " ..supporting those that are trying to impose ... that have not worked anywhere in this world but disastrous..". Really is this level of your objectivity? Every foreign power "imposes" in one form or another. I gave you examples of such in previous posts, but your reluctance to acceptance is your choice. Lets disagree. Not sure how from my wrting you are able to discern who I am. Who am I, Causcasin, Asian, African? Tell me please - lets get a scale of your ability to discern. Oh and dont reference India and Pakistan - which I assume you referenced because you think I am Indian - because of Gandhis face on my account. Instead of teling me to learn to be in the shoes of others - practice what you preach before telling others. Well as for me a Zambian - you did qualify that by stating not of "african..". azulu 480 I said Zambia had jets from late 70s and you should know that we have a famous fighter jet pilot from the Liberation struggle in the name of General Peter Zuze These are facts I have from my childhood being in first grade in 1980 Before you continue with your denying Zambia jets as you think the recent Chinese ones are the first ones ,Google for these facts please so that you can school me in this respect . May you have this fact its in the early 80s that I heard the booming sound of mig 21on our roof when I was a kid I grew up in the front line of the frontline so their is a lot I saw and experienced concerning Freedom Fight If you know when was Zambia's first Jet bought For your own information Zambia had its first batch of Mig 19 on 1978 and 21s in 1980. azulu where do you come from to deny that Zambia had jets looking at your claim that you passed through UNZA it behoves you to even teach me about Zambia's military strength unless you were a pro Ian Smith . Zambia had jets before the Migs. Italian jets. MB 326. I have seen them at the old lusaka airport. I never said Zambia did not have jets. What I asked was, when were they used in the liberation struggle. Did they attack sites in Zimbabwe, Angola or Mozambique? From what I remember the illegal regime of Rhodesia used to invade Zambian airspace with impunity, with their Hawker Hunter aircraft (telling the ZAF at Mumbwa to stay put). What action did Zuze take? Can you provide a source? I am not questioning his service or prefessionalism. Why are you fixated with just Migs? You were born in ~1975/76 (since first grade was in 1980) and were then at the Fronline? Which frontline? In the bush with a gun? By the time you were an adult the countries around Zambia were free. So not sure which Frontline. I was there when UDI was declared and the economic ramifications it dumped on Zambia was negative. Oh and stop the riduculous reference to Ian Smith just becsuse I dont agree with your point of view. Yes Zambia sufferred a lot for the countries in Southern Africa that are now liberated.

If you were really that old how come you don't know KK's legendary restraint If I can ask you do you defend Smith When I say front line of the flontline I mean I grew up in a town near the Zimbabwean boarder that for your own information their was a guerilla camp 300 metres from our home If you were not in that experience appreciate that their is somebody like me who sold bread from my mama's little bakery to fighters and who saw a captured boor soldier painted black Their is no reason for condescending but to share even as winner's and as loser's

    OK their you go again with ther reference to Smith. Despicble human being. Why are you so infatuated with him? Sorry, but I do not recall any mass protests against KKs restraint. And I was in Lusaka all those years. There were some calls by some to be proactive. Thats its. Legendary restraint? Maybe he realized and recognized he could not do anything militarily? Bless him for that decision. We were outgunned, out smarted tactically and we did not have the capability. So lets get to another point - specifically what did the ZAF do during the liberation struggle without which the surrounding countries would not have been liberated (one of your earlier posts)? Any references on Google? Which targets did they attack? Can you provid ethis information, please? Me condescending? Its you who is condescending. Sit back and read your posts and determine whether your claims can be backed up (not in your mind). Also read your posts and the recognize the sanctimonius tone in your posts. My discourse emanates from happenings and the right to state my position to rebuke masqueraders epitomized by the West -and Orients together with Unremovable Centerplayer, of things . Maybe your details on Syria are scanty as you failed to have semblance of timeline of things as along this posting I remembered brother Fredrick Forsythe's ,if this correct pronunciation for this name Why do you deliberately ignore all nefarious players on the Syrian bloodletting ? My little timeline will some up as the prologue is the epilogue and vis-à-vis in the Syrian saga -- Fomenting was done overtly by big boss in the name of popular desire when in fact usual machinations..,did you see this or you missed it as such truths can't be verified on common platform because of being labelled anti. Iran manifested as pro Assad's before it became a world stage - also Benjamin prophesied that it will be a chronic one ,though....and living all in trepidation whence the malfeasance. Hezbollah's under Iranian auspices was conspicuous up to this present in usual airs of damnation. Then came the mother of all Assad's pro's In the name of Russia and a nemesis under the sun to all warmongering in 2015 after waiting for a desired" cut" All sides have stories of embracing enemies for the sake of the ultimate objective. It happened as if the Syria war was in the timeline of weapon testing for Russia- as it was viewed by the West as mighty but inferior but the story is different now as belligerent nations now overtly desire Russian fangs . ( I will never glorify war and warfare and that l will always talk to shed light in the darkness which envelopes all in war) Is it good to bring" regime change" regardless of the ramification? What do you fear and not saying the factor in the beginning of" regime change" was sheer economics masquerading as benevolence. Before this confusion was the gas pipe line and boarder issues which appeared as if stalled but in fact no . Their is always what we are not told in all conflicts by the establishments for fear the masses can know the truth that profiteers are calling the shots . The Syrian saga is typically a marionette's as the masses are bearing the fire in destruction. Its like this ---- 1*being a threat in planned execution 2*labeled antagonist because of being aligned to the other bully 3*being in possession of desired victuals Stop your "that's in my book" as that's concomitant to insular approach which you are branding me seemingly without introspection. I hope their are no vestiges now in your life concerning the Jim craw as their terrible vestiges DOS in the States spiritually and materially which makes them mistaken by the waylaid minded. You are saying I'm separating Zambians according to origin,"and it's racism " when it's every constitution of any sovereign state Constitutions are painfully segregative concerning citizenship which is the reason and impetus for Brexit and unpalatable fiasco Immigrants who become citizens have the uncomfortable truth of duality unlike the indigenous hence magnitude of loyalty as they not included in certain duties lest the unknown . I defeated fear in my life and I love to share the truth about me and others so that I can continue to have a life without secrets as it's bondage.

    I know the Syrian timelines very well and the complexities that are present, with interference from the Western, Russia, Iran and Turkey. Don't need to lecture me on that. Don't underestimate the other persons level of knowledge. It's the motive of other countries that we disagree on. You state - "Is it good to bring" regime change" regardless of the ramification? What do you fear and not saying the factor in the beginning of" regime change" was sheer economics masquerading as benevolence." First if the masses are under a dictatorship "regime change" is justified. Under your logic, Zimbabwe should have remained under a white dictatorship as real democracy (as Zambians exercise) was wiped out by Mugabe and his henchman. In contrast Iraq should not have been invaded, again, by the West - that was purely to serve their own interests. I don't fear saying that in Syria "regime change" was based on economics. I just don't agree with that premise. Having a different opinion does not equate to fear. Again you are passing judgement on me (that I am fearful). Stop doing that. Stop telling me to indulge in introspection. Practice what you preach before sermonizing. I don't tell you to change your view and I don't think that you are fearful for not agreeing with my point. Citizenship - The original comment you had was that I was not a Zambian of African origin. It has nothing to do with an immigrant becoming a citizen (your comment above) and the inherent duality challenges. Don't change the narrative now. I was born in Lusaka and under the law I am a Zambia citizen. Brexit was to take back the UK's ability to govern themselves, they do not want to told by the EU to do certain things. I actually don't agree with Brexit and the Brits have shot themselves in the foot on this. You state - "I hope their are no vestiges now in your life concerning the Jim craw as their terrible vestiges DOS in the States spiritually and materially which makes them mistaken by the waylaid minded.". What has Jim Crow (not "craw") got to do this with this discussion. Can you explain?

    With respect, if an event did not happen, it did not happen. Please don't question my ability to observe, see or listen. Dont be judgmental. I dont recall big protests,just some calls for Zambia to actively take part. Now you admit that the ZA was not actively involved - earlier you stated that it was because of them we saw the results. Why this discrepancy? Russia a power to restraint bullies? Russia is a bully itself. See how they annexed Crimea from Ukraine. Lets see, propping up a dictatorial regime in Venezuela - a country where there is no power even in hospitals due to a faltering economy? China a resraint to bullies - whilst it bullies its neighbors and takes control of the south china sea by building military bases on islands claimed by others as well? That is a definition of a bully. With your responses its clear that you only see in what you believe in. A level headed person would see that western powers were imperialiasts (and continue to this day to be that) AND ALSO see that there is a new style of imperialism manifesting.

    it's strange that Zambia requires modernization of it's air force. I fail to understand this priority over the urgent need of economic infrastructure improvement, and even more so the social services. People are defecating in plastic bags that are thrown in open drains that increase the spread of diseases. Such policies are a reminder of the the dictatorship of UNIP before multiparty systems came along. i am not criticizing the efforts of ZAF - I criticize prioritization of resources spent this way - ZAF is an unnecessary show piece. i hope at least that ZAF is used for anti poaching patrols, if there are any wildlife left.

I once stayed in a foreign country as such I have covenant not to abuse any immigrant under whatever situation,although some people can be unrealistic, even talking down the natives and boasting that their place of origin had towns the size of the host country. You surprise me to think that I'm saying that ZA didn't take part in the Liberation War ,that's not as I stayed KK refused to yield to retaliation demands . If you knew how ZA was being mobilized now and again to and from the boarder , Yes these two guys are equally bullies and not in Crimean saga you failed to mention the pro west coup that toppled a legitimate government . You referred to Venezuela and ignored the people that are hoarding and limlting... Them Chinese are better because they reason together with their clients and amicably they do developmental projects, unlike the grudgingly-inconsistent -policy proscribing of the West . Zambian of foreign origin? What does that mean? I was born in the then N. Rhodesia. Are you saying that I am not "black" or of "African "origin (e.g. caucasian, asian). Why does that matter? Or in your mind only "blacks" born in Zambia are true Zambians and will believe and understand what you say? Your assumptions are way beyond any rational logic. Please dont lecture me on "you once stayed in a foreign country... and not abuse any immigrant etc.." Am I insulting you? We are having a discourse and we disagree on certain things. Be a matrure prson and accept disagreements. Just because one is not black - that person cant be a "true" Zambian. Shame on you. Stop with your pontifications with religious terminology. Actually you did say that had it not been for the ZA, the surrounding countries would not be free. Read your original posts. How were the ZA being mobilized now and again to and from the "boarder" (its "border"). In Crimea, the Rusians could have imposed conditions so that the legitimate president was placed back in place. No it annexed Crimea. In Venezuela yes there is "hoarding and limiting.." by both sides. Have you seen the current regime folks in dire straits, no accdss to food etc.? In contrast the majority of the population suffers. Chinese are better? More sophisticated is what I call them. End result is the same. Well with them if you cant payback the loans, you lose rights to your Port, Airport etc.. for close to 100 years. Otherwise they just claim island as their territory.

Its painful and vain how many people manifest differently according to peoples they think are less than them by not being in spirit Whom are you referring to as despicable person, as you wrote in a complete sentence? You are saying im using a sanctimonious tone, when your overtones are seems to bar indifferent to Zambia's(by asking what ZAF did all in the name of our neighboring countries. Mind you Zambia openly stood against the racist governments by by being a front for armed resistance by being a base for more than 30 freedom movements ,and Angola was almost occupied by the racists because Dos Santos and regime wanted to sack out Savimbi and the bandits who were sponsored by them imperialists-then who did the ultimate provocation ? Zambia did the ultimate declaration as those guerillas were a terror to all the racists. How many war strategies do you know to insinuate that ZAF did nothing ,do you know that history has it that Zuze breached the air space up to Harare's to show them but did nothing as I told you that bombing Rhodesia could have been like disastrous to those Zambia was fighting for to be liberated. You can doubt to whatever degree you prefer, your choice. Maybe its blinkered vision on your part. I was in Lusaka, when UDI was declared (1965) and experienced all the subsequent ramifications and impact on Zambia. I am fully aware of the sacrifices that Zambia made to support the neighboring countries. It paid a huge price. No disputing that. You are asking who was I referring to as Despicable person as I wrote "in a complete sentence"? If I wrote a "complete sentnce" it should be clear. Iam Smith. So questioning for specifics on what the ZAF did I am indifferent? Really? Really? So what you say is the gospel truth? You state: "UNITA regime wanted to sack out Savimbi". He was the head of UNITA. Why would they sack him? Yes he was supported by western factors but MPLA was supported by Cuba. When Cuba got involved, in supporting MPLA, Rupiah Banda (then the Foreign Minister for Zambia) made a comment to the effect that we got rid of the western imperialist only to allow new colonisers (he meant Cuba). But then he changed his tune when he was the president. International politics. You state: "How many war strategies do you know to insinuate that ZAF did nothing ,do you know that history has it that Zuze breached the air space up to Harare's to show them but did nothing as I told you that bombing Rhodesia could have been like disastrous to those Zambia was fighting for to be liberated." Again where is this referenced? You asked me previously Google some information to support your stance. I tried to confirm Zuzes foray to Harare on Google. Nothing there. Dont qoute history - show me where this is documented or confirmed. Guess what, Africa is getting colonized by another big powerful country. Want a hint? Look at how Sri Lanka lost sovreignty of a major port to another country for 99 years.

    I never said you shamed me. Read my post cleary. I said shame on you for questioning my Zambianess - because you started distingushing Zambians who are of African origin vs those who are not. Thats racism and I though we got rid of that? Did you ever sit on a city bench that had "Whites" and "Non Whites" with a line in between? Doubt it. I went through that. Why edit my response? Scared of what I write? The demagouges come in all types of flavors, Western Powers, Russia and and yes China. Their modus operandi is different. Ok lets talk about Syria. A country run by a dictator family for decades. Or you OK with dicators. People want freedom (or you disagree with that?) from decades of dictatorship. Civil war erupts with factions supporetd by Western Powers and Russia backing the current regime. In Iran the CIA installed a puppet in the form of the Shah. Absolutely wrong. What hapenned? The people revolted an doverthrew the Shah. Same process in Syria, except instaed of USA propping the current regime its Russia. But thats OK with you I guess. Just based on your writings one can come to a reasonable assumption which side your sentiments are aligned with.
