Zalgiris survives Maccabi at home! | Round 33, Highlights | Turkish Airlines EuroLeague
A highly-entertaining clash in which neither team held a lead higher than 7 points saw Zalgiris Kaunas hold off Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv 68-67 on Thursday night. Zalgiris survived to see another day in a playoffs race, improving to 18-15, while Maccabi dropped to 19-14 but qualified for the playoffs thanks to losing by a margin of just 1 point.

Game of the season in zalgirio arena. What a noise,what a support,what a battle!💚🤍
Zalgiris its the most special team in EL,and that aint even close. Small budget & small roster and have been unlucky with injuries. Zalgiris represents smth with passion as we should point they have less foreigner then any other team and been using only 3-4. Not to forgive they lost theyre spirit and leader - Evans but the team kept fighting,as with Evans team could achieve more and at least secure play-offs. But this team shows character,heart,and a lot of grint and thats why its appreciated everywhere
Those two dunks from Arnas and Hayes were insane! The energy in the Arena was off the roooooof after it!

I think top10 week 33 will be atleast 3 plays from this match. Baldwin halfcourt shot , Arnas poster against 2 ppl and Hayes moster putback 🤭🤭 the game felt like it was half of NBA and HALF of Euroleague at the same time.
Man... Almost had a heart stroke, what a game! Zalgiris is one of a kind, this team truly deserves TOP 8. Good luck v Bayern, hope Zalgiris will go through.

Considering how bad we were last year and losing Evans through injury? You'd could argue that. Our team based on budget is one of the lowest in the league, so its pretty impressive that the playoff's are one win away.
