Zalem testing a Low A# Ujazi Didgeridoo - Aruga - La#/A# - by Ujazi Didgeridoo
A few years back I had the chance to have Zalem played my first low A# didgeridoo. He demonstrated the great potential of the instrument by showing his amazing technics and music talent.
(for the previous video : • Zalem Delarbre tests a... )
After 3 years I was asked to craft a copy of that didgeridoo for a custom order and so I thought it’d be a nice idea to do another video with Zalem playing this 2019 version of that A# in cherry wood.
I hope you’ll enjoy.
Here’s a few words from Zalem about the didg :
« Its low key in A# and its very wide bore make it a very deep didgeridoo. It’s a surprisingly very easy to play didgeridoo for those characteristics, but it might not be a didgeridoo for beginners or it needs to be tamed with softness. Its wide bore, its thin walls and its shape offer an enormous amount of possibilities and shades : round and punchy wobbles, lots of space to add beatbox sounds, powerful vocals and easy to catch toots. Once you’ve got it in hand it becomes a racing machine ! »

(for the previous video : • Zalem Delarbre tests a... )

That is the craziest circular breathing that I have ever seen or heard. Legendary.
Insane tone, ungodly technique. My stereo was up high when the video began and it was like getting hit by a bus. World class. Respect.
talent gets 1.7k likes but a live action barbie npc saying "yes yes yes, ooh ice cream yum" perpetually is making 1000s rn? please. this dude deserves more credit

"brown note" ...haha hell yeah, mommy.
That dingo howl at the end was one of the best I have ever heard in its artistic creativity. Awesome.
This feels like talent shows from 2000's :))

Sheeeeeeeeesh
som incrível
And i thought i saw everything. How was i wrong ! 👌
Throat singing techniques through a large tube. always thought it was a stretch to call a didgeridoo a instrument. you can do every single sound without the tube. it just adds depth, reverb, and echo. all achievable with a microphone and effectss. so is it a tool more so then an instrument? is a microphone a instrument or a tool? Is a guitar amplifier an instrument on its own separate from the guitar? thats essentially the same concept.
I'm sure it's been said but I'm going to say it: Zalem is the Eddie Van Halen of the didjeridoo. If I'm wrong, I can't wait to hear the other candidates!
strepitoso...
It's definitely nice sounding dige but I prefer something in a D sharp or F
Damn dude. You gotta go to some Didgeridoo battles.
🤯🤯🤯 God?
Please - what is the brand of metal stand you use ? thanks in advance ! (* you're an amazing didger ! )

Hi, thanks ;) This didg is in the key of A#, it's about 195cm long, the air column starts at more than 4,6cm and the bell rests at 11cm or so. It's in cherry wood with a pear mouthpiece.
How

reminds me of the time Peter talked about gay Aborigines
