Zaha Hadid in 7 Minutes: What Makes Her Architecture So Extraordinary?
Often known as the "Queen of the Curve," Zaha Hadid was one of the most admired and extraordinary architects of her time. Forbes even named her among the 100 most powerful women in the world. She has won some of the world's top honors in the realm of architecture, including the Pritzker Prize.
So, why are Zaha Hadid’s buildings so extraordinary? What influences her signature style? Finally, is it true that her inspiration comes from the ‘Black Square’ author, Kazimir Malevich? Keep watching to find out!

I've watched various of Zaha's mini-biography videos, but no one seemed to blatantly show the major influences for her design, including her role model. I just knew from here that the shape of calligraphy appeared on her mental image and influenced her works. Thanks, Muse! Thumbs up for including an expert to complete and validate the content that you've compiled. The only thing that tingling up in my mind is the use of social media elements (including like button and emoji that doesn't seem to fit the theme) as a tool to festive the content. I get that it used to attract the younger generation. But, hey! It's a different platform. You can keep delivering the elegant content in a modern style while engaging more viewers. I am sure that quality content still reaches the crowd even without that added details. I hope your content peaks at high traffic. Nevertheless, thank you for helping student understands architectural history in short deliberately explained videos!

I remember her from way back. She won a competition at the Architectural Association with a building that looked unbuildable. Zaha's architecture inspires in a way that is hard to describe. OK, it's just a building, but it's a building that makes you imagine. Nika, you're too kind :) , and thank you for signing up for the art course!
As an engineer/designer/architect you are taught to optimize the use of materials, cost and space and provide solution with least waste. Given these constraints most people work in, it is hard to design grandiose structure if not backed by wealthy firms or connections. Being creative is a part of the answer but having connections is what can realise those ideas to reality. That break and that capital is hard to find. That dosen't take away from her sucess but an acknowledgement of material conditions is also warrented.

Awesome video, hard to believe this channel isnt getting much traffic so far! I know, right? It IS hard to believe why it’s not getting much traffic. Since users can interact with us cross-platforms, we use these elements exactly to keep the audience engaged with us. Ex: someone watched a video here and then followed us on Instagram and continued to consume our content there. Once we grow a little more, we may reconsider the social elements 😇. If you have any ideas that can help us grow, be sure to let us know :)

Thanks for your contribution. High quality subject theme here that encourages me to follow you for similar subject matter, but I should add that the introduction to your channel gives off a holier -than-thou feeling, which is followed by the narrator's excessive emphasis in her speech pattern and rather extreme though off-putting superlatives. There is great but understated value in being more humble as it could easily turn off your followers. Zaha does not need the emphasis, as her legacy speaks for itself. Thanks for this précis on Zaha!! She had more to give us!!
Bravo Zaha, Bravo!!
With wealth came uncompromising independence that most other architects struggle and very few can do Follies, blow them up the scale to squeeze functional spaces in-between. I knew Zaha as a person and she was vulnerable, lonely and even shy but defensive for her love of her art. We were invited once to go sailing on a friend’s sailboat . Suddenly I realized that the day trip would strain her bladder as the heads were too small for her larger than life size. I was so relieved, no pun, that she declined .
Zaha Hadid is one of my "heroes." Her architecture translates well to hand-built ceramic structures.

Although I cant say I love her buildings or style, I have a lot of respect for her. She was obviously a very determined and hard working individual.
Brilliant video about Zaha Hadid’s remarkable work and style so rich and creative while exalting the subtle curves and arabesque lines of Islamic architecture. As a Norwegian, I find it extraordinary to see the world’s most distinct Woman Architect is an Arab woman who comes from a part of the world known as the Cradle of Civilization. After all, the Western world ( the Greeks and Romans) took our knowledge from Mesopotamia, ancient Egypt and the Phoenicians. But we hardly ever acknowledge it because we are so self-centered. What a great discovery!

I havent seen this videos, at work right now..but i can say one thing. In terms of space utilisation people critisize her work for not maximising the space and buildings being useless sometimes. I absolutely love it i and i wish more architects get the chance to explore their creativity lile that. The problem is with architects they dont get the chance and approval by major building companies to build their designs, otherwose we would have many great buildings like hers....in china many things do grt approved and it starts to show that the west is nothing more than concrete withouth any nice design
She was amazing she made modern architecture look appealing unlike the numerous boxes that are put up everywhere these days.
no professor in mi used to like her architectural style until i went to study architecture none of my professors actually like parametricism because it is created by computers and logaritms it also never indulges the human itself, like the scale of her projects are huge, made to amaze from far away
