So glad to see this happen. Mlb Network broadcast play-by-play guy that sounds like a 1st year college student in the av club was obsessed with saying Grienke was not the same guy he used to be nonsense. Believe me pal, your broadcasting work is the worst of any other options.

they cheated 4 years ago. if they were bad without cheating...then they wouldnt be making it every single year. so i think maybe we need to realize they ARE a good team, cheating or not.

As an Astros fan, I can live with not winning in 2019 and 2021, but I will forever be sad that Zack Greinke will likely never win a World Series, the only one of the modern Big Four (the rest being Kershaw, Scherzer, and Verlander) to do so.

He is now most likely The last pitcher to ever get a hit in the world series

I absolutely love this man he's possibly the weirdest player ever In MLB but that's kinda what makes him unique no one else will throw a less than 60 mph pitch and strike a batter out at the same time and straight up tell batters which pitch is coming

very few people will remember the braves winning the world series but greinke getting a hit as a pinch hitter in the world series, it's gonna live on for decades.

That’s great for Greinke. Always liked him. To be fair, it’d also be great if these strike zones from team to team were even close to the same zone. Greinke should’ve been hitting in an 0-1 count there but it’s been that way for ever pitcher…..except the ones with a HOU uniform on.

Good for Greinke to get a hit, but Baker should not have had him batting 8th, that was a dumb decision.

Am I missing something? Why couldn’t greinke keep pitching? He was cruising, throwing a one hitter and ended on an inning ending double play in the 4th inning. I know they said he had a pitch limit of 50 or so pitches but he’s not injured or fatigued? Would it have killed them to keep him in a few more innings or maybe keep riding the train if it’s not broken? Would’ve given them the W instead of the the L. I’m not a Houston fan, but I just don’t like how these strategies always end up hurting the team that implements them.

Wait What?!? I thought that was a glitch! In mlb the show when the pitcher bats and gets on base, they show a runner with a jacket on. I was like "oh, it's a glitch because the game is confused that the pitcher is on base as a base runner". Looking so silly, even made a short video on it in slow mo. Now this leads me to this unbearable question. Is this an excuse for the pitcher's arm to stay "warm"...

Yes, there is actually a special rule just for the pitcher allowing him to wear a jacket when running bases to keep the arm warm. When position players want to wear one they have to wear it under their jersey, which looks even sillier.
