Maybe super glue the bottom to the foam wrapped on the hook..just to widen Your gap

Love watching a professional with his own personal narrator to help describe what’s happening, nice touch. Nice little popper frog 🐸 I tied some similar in white with pink polkadots and all green with black polkadots and fished them in Mexico and the tarpon killed um . Thanks for sharing, I really like the eyes 👀

If you have fish that would eat frogs... I would say yes. Im not super familiar with fishing in the UK.
