Zach Edey’s Unique Story and Lifestyle!
Zach Edey’s troubled childhood led to future success. Born in Toronto, Canada, his mother, Julia, had dreams of playing basketball but pursued mechanical engineering due to the lack of money in women's basketball. Zach, standing at 6-foot-10 by eighth grade, struggled with his height, feeling like an outsider. He eventually embraced basketball, excelling in college and winning multiple awards. His hard work also landed him a lucrative NIL deal. Despite facing hate and racism, he uses it as motivation. With a net worth of over 100 thousand dollars from college basketball, the NBA and more lucrative opportunities await him in the future.

Zach will alway be my favorite. I have follow him since his freshman year. He has worked hard to get well deserved accolades. I will continue to follow his career. Much respect to his mom Ms. Julia. A great mom who raised a great man and athlete.♥️♥️♥️ Mrs. Parker / married to a football Purdue alumni

Doesn’t deserve any of the hate. He’s solid, little guys don’t realize the advantage they have when it comes to ball handling, control, and longevity. They just see a big dude closer to the rim and can’t stand it.

His money is limited by his Visa status as a foreigner. He got paid for the one game they played in Canada though, and he can get deals for when he plays international games.

I love Zach. What I admire most is the fact that he could have been in the NBA already making millions, but for some reason he chose to stay in school. U don't see much of that these days. He should be player of the year again this year. I'd vote for him.

@@xFatal4 He's barely making anything in college. US student Visa's prohibit earning real money. He got paid a little for playing international games, especially the one in Canada they did in 23, and he gets some passive income from Jersey sales. That's pretty much it though. If he had gone pro last year he would have been a 2nd round guy likely on the bench or g league. This tournament he is getting some actual buzz though. People are starting to say that somebody needs to find out how to use this once in a generation combination of size and coordination, because he would be a monster if they can.

@@joseph1150oh, I was wondering why this guy narrating the video said Zach’s income was only $100,000 and I thought with NIL I was hearing these good college players were making millions. I guess it’s only him not getting it because of the visa rule you’re talking about. Poor Julia because she retired early so that she could come to America and help make it easier for Zach being away from home. A higher income for him could help her out. But I guess at least these players get something for their hard work.

@@kristagerst2341 He will make money in the NBA, enough to make it worth it regardless. NBA rookie contracts and signing bonuses for lottery picks will make it worth it. Even if he bounces out of the league like people are saying, he will have a good future in Euroball. If he ends up in a place like Taiwan, their small league pays their top draws 25k a month, or 150k a year. Dwight Howard made like a million in Taiwan. IDK if he would be willing to play in China itself, I hope not, but the pay there is pretty decent even if the teams are complete trash these days.

Hello Purdue Basketball nutcases! First, I never made this little tribute video to offend anyone. Even though it's called "Loyer, Smith and Edey", every current player is included. I'm well aware of how balanced and deep this team is! The song on the video is a parody of Warren Zevon's "Lawyers, Guns and Money"and the names of those 3 players fit the song pretty well (especially Fletch)! Hope you like it and thanks to Warren Zevon's estate for being so cool about allowing the song to be used! Let's do this damn thing! kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZKmC0Jl-mLmag84.htmlsi=e5Pr06c869yCLOvb

As far as I know he lives in a small house with Fletch, Ethan, and I believe Caleb or Gillis about a block away from Mackey. My wife worked at the Fuse building for about 5 years (left in January) and saw him on one of those Bird scooters going to class about a year or two ago. He used to live in the Fuse building with Treyvion Williams as his roommate. Very humble.
