This video made me smile. I love Zach's attitude towards cerebral palsy, and it makes me wish I felt this way about having cerebral palsy. He's really funny too!

Hannah Schuessler One day I explained to my cousin that my cerebral palsy means that my brain was damaged when/before I was born, so my legs and balance don't work like his due to my brain being damaged. He said that means I can play football really good.

I wanna see this conversation so bad. “What’s wrong with your legs?” “I have brain damage.”

im 28 and have cp and had no idea about the foundation, thanks, and those were all good points.
Dear Zach, I am 13 years old and have cerebral palsy. I really enjoyed watching your videos on KZread. You are an inspiration for me. Please make more videos.
As a person with CP I can relate
I have CP and I love this guys attitude!
I work with several people who have CP. Growing up, I only was friends with one guy who had CP and it was really limiting for him. It's been really educational for me to find out just how broad the range of symptoms can be for it but literally everyone has been awesome. One of my better work friends and I enjoy going back and forth about him not being able to stand up and my blood not clotting. It's hilarious to watch people's reactions in public! I think the one thing that I would add to this list is that, regardless of disability, we're all people first. The disabilities are just a trait we have, they don't define us. I'm a person who happens to have Hemophilia. My friends just happen to have CP. We all have our own battles to face, some might be more visible than others but we're all people first.
This guy needs to work in HR, I'm not talking interviewing warehouse workers, I want this guy to interview potential CEO's, high level managers etc... if they can stand up to the shit he can throw at them, they get the job.
Zach Is honestly funnier that most professional comedians. You are a real inspiration man.

I love this gentleman. I have a son with CP, and I'm going to share this with him. He needs to hear good stuff like this, and I love to hear him laugh!
That brain damage part made me laugh so hard, it was said so funnily. I'm glad you take it all with stride, and you're so happy with life! I know a lot of people with medical conditons often feel shunned and hide. I'm glad you're out there like this.
I love this, I have cerebral palsy as well, and it was interesting to see some of the differences that he wants people to know. Some of mine are completely different!! love you Zach, keep doing what your doing!
people who talk smack about people who have CP are complete jerks coming from someone who has it. i say it is hard to do stuff sometimes but we get by with a little help from our friends.
he's actually really damn attractive

How can you not love this guy Zach!!?? You are one in a trillion!!! Luv you!!! ;)
haha! Zach! you are funny and i think anyone who watches this video has learned something!
I was so surprised to hear my name here, Ethel! I thought I must be hearing it incorrectly. I kept playing that part over and over. You are doing great, Zach! My brother Johnny was born with cerebral palsy in 1944. He could run but didn't talk. We all heard him say one word - "beer" - to my Dad, and my Dad let him have a drink. He died when he turned 12. My parents took him to the Shriner's Hospital in Philadelphia. Those doctors said, "What butcher delivered this baby?". I doubt if we could have sued back then. The doctor used the forceps too roughly. My Mom was begging to have him delivered by cesarian, but that doctor knew best!! He even delivered me 2 years later, I have the forceps dents above my hairline to prove it. Some doctors have no idea what effect they can have on a family. Thankfully, my parents didn't put him in some 'HOME' for people like him, that would have been so cruel. We all loved Johnny.

I admire u so much, u're truly amazing
I just watched a play with a woman who had both Cerebal Palsy and autism. She was the best part of the show, even though she couldn't walk or talk. I think that has to be the most inspirational thing I've ever seen. The reason I'm here is actually to see if that is a symptom of Cerebal Palsy for all people who have it (I'm sorry, I haven't heard much about it before). I thought it was cool that she could be the spotlight of the show even without talking or walking.

What? Not being able to walk or talk? There’s a BUNCH of variation. I have known people with CP who can not only walk but also drive. I’ve actually never known any who couldn’t speak; that’s generally on the more severe side of the spectrum.
This is a great video and provides great awareness. I think tip #10 is the most important.
Zach is so hilarious. I love him.
Dude you are really cool. Thanks for this! You helped me “get it”.
