Sorry, but why would you spread lies like that? Not only was that video from like 10 years ago but they don't mention SRK at all. I'd advise you to actually watch the whole thing first. And she didn't say "you're right" to everything, she only agreed that Pakistan should work on building their industry. Which as an actress IN PAKISTAN, it makes sense. And the part that people are spazzing over is where she says they shouldn't get inspired by Bollywood. But if you see the WHOLE video and understand the context and the way the conversation was going, she was saying that Bollywood is too big for them to try to compete with so they should simply try to work on their own industry without trying to compete or copy anyone. It's that simple. I don't appreciate you calling it trashing when she said nothing and it was largely the idiot host going on and on. The problem is that people who haven't even seen the video/clip might just believe your words and think you're right. Thanks, hope you understand.

You're right. I was so shocked when I read about the clip but having seen it, I'm now more shocked at how far it was taken out of context. Trashy journalists are the root of this issue but it doesn't help when people just blindly follow along like sheeps. Would it hurt to look into yourself? It's awful too because Mahira didn't have the right platform to correct the misunderstanding either so loads of people I'm sure, still think she said things she didn't.

Actually many bollywood personalities spoke up for them saying art is art irrespective of nation. They wanted Pakistani actors and actresses to work. Problem is that bollywood is in mumbai where goons like Shiv sena stay. They are a bunch of hooligans

I just want to say though, I appreciate your attempt at objectiveness. It's not really your fault that people are spreading around a clip with no context and sensationalizing it with fake meaning (although you did make some stuff up that wasn't in the video). She did look good with SRK and she did do great in the movie and that interview was from VERY long ago. Even in that, she didn't say anything against India. It was only the host being vile. And she's NEVER EVER said anything against India, if anything she's even defended India at times against other hosts who also try to bash BW/India. She's a really good, nice person and she's very talented. Don't let the people trying to drag her get to you. Thanks! :)

Haaaa! First of all she didn't trash Bollywood or srk! She just said that since Pakistani industry still a struggling industry and Bollywood is far more established so they(Pakistani actors) should concentrate on Pakistani industry and it should be their priority. Do you really have hearing and seeing issues? Because that video was like 9 years ago and she didn't even say what you're saying. Mahira's like a million times more beautiful than her and many Bollywood actresses. Anyways, it's sad that you have Salman as your profile pic cuz Salman is my favorite actor and I want Salman and Mahira to work together. Don't care what you have to say to that, I think she would great in BW. But I don't think she cares if she doesn't get work in Bollywood because she's successful with or without it. Dude, she's really nice, kind, innocent, I'm telling you, she has no disrespect inside of her. Plus it's a VIDEO FROM 10 YEARS AGO and all she said was that they shouldn't try to compete/copy Bollywood because Bollywood is too big for them to catch up to. If that's offensive to you, then why not just grant her Indian citizenship since you expect her to be an Indian nationalist now. Hope you understand :)
