Thanks! I noticed something odd. did the AUX port as per your video, then months, later wired up a bluetooth module via my CD changer (so the car thinks im using the CD changer when its actually bluetooth). Surprisingly the CD changer bypass had a significant boost in audio quality compared to aux

@@Battery-Powered Its called the BlueMusic module :) works with the multifunction steering wheeel. If you have the 6 cd changer in the caar, you can get the 6 pin variant to bypass it. Depending on if you have pre-LCI or LCI and the apmplifier you got, you may need a DSP converter. All of these are relatively inexpensive

Loving the authenticity of your content, keep it up 🙂 It may take a while and a bit more cash to get that sounding like a Mark Levinson though...

HI, which sound system is installed in your Z4 ? 6 CD charger ? , I have the NAVIGATION SYSTEM PROFESSIONAL CD, and this kit didn't work due to the DSP (installed near the battery)

Did you look directly above the passenger seat heater control? That's where mine already is.

I love my Z4 and have to disagree with you about it. The audio is outstanding taking into account the age of these cars. Why didn't you just use the cutout that's already under the dash to mount the connectors jack?

Every one has their opinion on things.. if you are happy with the audio quality then that’s one more positive on the big list of good things of the z4 for you.

What year is your z4? I know in 2007 the aux for a z4 is hidden and out of sight is located right below the ac button above the heated seat buttons closer to the passenger side seat on the dash.

Mine is 2004 but I’ll have a look just in case. However, I have now fitted a Bluetooth module and so far works great

I don’t know if the 2004 has it but in 2006-2008 they have the aux very recently I test drove a z4 coupe and I was looking to see if it has one and I founded I don’t know on your year z4 if they came with one it would be interesting to know if BMW equipped them with one from factory like the 2007 z4 I test drove.

I have something plugged into that empty slit of the radio connector but no audio jack 🤔
