My brakes are fantastic, I had total confidence in them, it was probably the most impressive thing on the day, leagues ahead of my MT09SP brakes.

@@jazoli69 so you have an MT09 and this bike? Which do you find yourself going for the keys more often? I have an FZ09 and i'm thinking of switching over to the sport tourer life, 1000sx would be my top choice.

@@gjkMN the Z1000SX is a much better bike than the MT09 in my opinion, the MT is ok for an hour at a time the SX you can ride all day.

@@jazoli69 do you feel the z1000 is as 'sporty' when out riding twisty road at pace? That sporty, flickable nature is the only thing i'd miss if i switch (assuming the FZ09 is in fact a sportier handling bike).

@@gjkMN no its not as 'sporty' its a good 50kgs heavier than the MT for a start, you can still have fun on it though, best you go test one as they are very different bikes
