Even though it looks complicated and each knot takes a lot of time, the end result is very nice...I want to try this! QUESTION: Can this be done with leather cord instead? Since you wouldn't burn the ends of leather cord, maybe glue the ends? Hmmm...maybe leather wouldn't work with having a slide knot??

Cindy DeGroot sure you could use leather. I would glue a tiny bead on the end of the leather.
