So When I got my Z-Flash, I immediately noticed that the light labels in the software didn't match the actual lights on the truck. So I spent an hour or so mapping out the lights between the truck and the software. From there I was getting frustrated trying to create a custom flash pattern because the software only lets you add or delete from the end of the pattern. What happens if you want to add something to the middle? You have to delete the pattern or de4lete back until the point you want to add something in and then rebuild the rest of the pattern. So I started looking into the flash pattern files and its all just Hexadecimal to turn lights on and off. This tutorial goes over mapping the lights and then creating flash patterns in excel or a text editor and reuploading that to the ZFlash.
